Just went there for dinner. Ordered Chashu ramen with pork broth. broth taste great, better than the other restaurant I ate previously, not salty, and just nice. Chashu is nice as well. soft, not chewy, and melts in your mouth.
The only problem I have is the portion size. the noodle and the soup feels less and it won't get me full.
The drink size is another thing as well, but it's worth the value at $2/cup.
Overall. excellent customer service, excellent food service, and excellent place as well.
Keep up the great work :)
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I particularly liked the pork belly ramen. The meat was nicely done, tender and savory, the broth was delicious but I felt that the portion could be slightly more for its price. The kaisen don and salmon sashimi were exceptional with good portions of salmon. I would recommend the lamb chop and grilled edamame too. Cosy environment with attentive staff.
Try this Japanese Ramen restaurant at Short street in Singapore ! It's a hidden gem food wise and price as well. Authentic Japanese food and their sushi & sashimi is something you should definitely order !!!
I really liked my order of ramen and fried pork. The Gyu don was awesome and delicious! The sushi however, was very normal and I think both the seafood lacked freshness and the sushi rice lacked flavor, both did not mix well. Overall I enjoyed my dinner.
Edit: updated to 5 star, came back for supper at 12am. Not easy to find conveniently located quality food at that hour.
Came here very often for late night supper. One of the hidden gem in sg to have such good food in such late night. Always come here for their garlic fried rice and okonomiyaki recommended by the manager KS, if you are fan of garlic their fried rice is legit good. And they have good quality sushi nicely prepared not like other place when u pick up one sushi all of it starting to fall apart. Overall enjoy every dish with good customer service especially served by KS.
Total bill:$70+ for 2pax
Operating hours: 5pm-6am daily
Was in the area running an errand when we were reminded of this saved place, and went for it since it has pretty good reviews.
Ambience was okay, not the usual Japanese vibe you will get from shopping mall restaurants.
Service was great, the auntie serving us has difficulty walking around but still treated us earnestly ๐๐ป
๐ Food wise, I quite like the volcano ramen for how the flavour adds up - pretty unique and can be rather spicy for the first bite
๐ garlic fried rice with onsen eggs was pretty much the highlight of the night - the garlic taste really shine through, coupled with the bits of fried eggs and running onsen egg, itโs a dish to come by for, 5 ๐ on its own!
๐ฃ the chicken floss and pork cutlet roll was passable, not the best we have tried - maybe it felt too dry from us not utilising the soy sauce
Scallops were quite unique, paired with black pepper sauce and cucumber, it is certainly refreshing.
Canโt find any wow factor other than the garlic fried rice, will consider returning if Iโm craving specifically for that ๐๐ป
I am writing this review after trying a few items on their menu.
Definitely must try the okonomiyaki!
Basically all the stuff on the menu is good!
Best part: The open till late so if you want to have Japanese food for supper, this is the place.
Lovely 2 storey setup, good customer service with decent variety of sushi, yakitori and wine. Go for the garlic fried rice, chicken yakitori. Will come back next time to try the sashimi and ramen. Reasonable pricing top.
Update: returned for the Ramen and sushi, so delicious!! Still maintain 5 stars for food and service.
