Cheap and great food. We ordered the basil chicken rice, which had a delicious meat gravy. The red curry was really flavourful and pork was cooked well. I would definitely come back again.

Authentic Thai Cuisine At The Heart Of Bencoolen! When all the staff are Thai.. you know your in for an authentic meal and Thai Gold Food does not disappoint. Their pad thai is cooked to perfection with silky noodles and flavourful tofu. Thai green curry is super creamy and fragrant. Mango sticky rice’s mangoes are sweet and the sticky rice savoury and warm. The dining area is charming and feels like a Thai shophouse with lots of indoor and outdoor seats. Service is lightning fast and the staff very courteous and friendly. On top of that.. its super affordable! Can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes.

really good basil pork with rice ($5.80), incredible value good prawn cakes ($10 for 4), a bit pricey really nice thai milk tea ($1.80) as well will be visiting again to try their pad thai and curries

Paid $39 for sea bass in sour soup, chicken egg omelette and basil pork with rice. All were pretty decent. But servers looked as though it was the end of the world. Probably cos no service charge. Also had to ask for chilli and bowls to eat.

Tried the basil chicken rice. Taste reasonably nice. Tom yum seafood clear soup is not too bad, but abit pricey at $10.

Authentic Thai food at reasonable prices. Delicious dishes, friendly service team and u feel like u are having a meal on Bangkok street, esp when it’s a sunny afternoon. Will come for more.
