Authentic Thai Cuisine At The Heart Of Bencoolen! When all the staff are Thai.. you know your in for an authentic meal and Thai Gold Food does not disappoint. Their pad thai is cooked to perfection with silky noodles and flavourful tofu. Thai green curry is super creamy and fragrant. Mango sticky rice’s mangoes are sweet and the sticky rice savoury and warm. The dining area is charming and feels like a Thai shophouse with lots of indoor and outdoor seats. Service is lightning fast and the staff very courteous and friendly. On top of that.. its super affordable! Can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes.

Saved this Thai food place for quite some time, finally decided to give this place a try since I am nearby this place running some errands. Reached this restaurant slightly before 7pm and was gotten the table outside of the place.
Menu is pretty extensive, a lot of items to choose from. We ordered a total of 5 dishes, grill pork collar, thai style kang Kong, spring roll, pad thai and a seafood tomyam. Food was okay, tomyam soup was a little too salty for my liking. Pad thai was too wet and lack seasoning. Apart from that, the rest of the dishes were okay. Price wise, i personally feel its on the higher side.
Overall, a decent meal experience. Service was fast. Noticed that were more people as we were about to finish our meal.

will be visiting again to try their pad thai and curries

Paid $39 for sea bass in sour soup, chicken egg omelette and basil pork with rice. All were pretty decent. But servers looked as though it was the end of the world. Probably cos no service charge. Also had to ask for chilli and bowls to eat.

Tried the basil chicken rice. Taste reasonably nice. Tom yum seafood clear soup is not too bad, but abit pricey at $10.

Very disappointed with the standard now. Lost its authenticity. Tom yum soup mediocre.. server didn't asked if we wanted clear or milky version. Panda chicken lacked flavor n sweetness. Pork was too salty. Wings nothing to brag about. Male owner was so unfriendly when presenting the bill to me with that disgusting unfriendly face. Sorry but never will I return. Had been patronizing for over a decade only to have my taste buds numbed to the point of nausea. Get a grip n buck up please!

Cheap and great food. We ordered the basil chicken rice, which had a delicious meat gravy. The red curry was really flavourful and pork was cooked well. I would definitely come back again.
