This is probably the best Chinese restaurant that I have visited. Food and service were amazing. The ambience was great, there is a lady singing on stage while me and my wife were having dinner. I would have given them 5 stars, but I waited around one hour for my 龙虾泡饭. Don't really understand why it took them so long to serve this dish.
Two of us ordered duck (half), Buddha jump over the wall and lobster rice. The skin of duck was very crispy and it tasted perfect with the sauce. Buddha jump over the wall was superb, very flavourful soup and the abalone inside was tender. Perhaps we shouldn't order the lobster rice. It was nice though but not worth the wait.
We will definitely come back to this restaurant again. The dim sum were sold out by the time we went there. We are going to try it next time.
Have always loved Grand Shanghai but don't eat there often enough. First time having their dim sum & it was really nice.
The smoked duck was nicely smoked and gave off a very distinct smoky flavor which is very refreshing & unique from what is usually seen at other Chinese restaurants.
The banana souffle pancake was just amazing.
Service by the restaurant manager, Sabrina with her team was great without being intrusive.
Will definitely be back soon for more of their delicious food
Nice fresh dim sum in a nicely decorated restaurant. High ceilings really make a difference. I love the egg banana soufflé which is light and fluffy! Will go back just for that!
