Walked by this place and decided to try it. Beautiful setting surrounded by a nice garden. Nice to sit outdoors. We had the prawn and scallop ball as a starter. This dish is highly recommended. We also had the beef rendang which was very tender. The fried cod was average and would give that a miss. Service was good and we will come back again.
Beautiful restaurant, colonial-chic feel in the Black-and-White-House, with friendly staff and tasty food! Chop Suey loosely translates as “bits and pieces”, or “off-cuts”, and there is definitely an easy-going feel to the food and servings. This makes it perfect for sharing dishes, not too pretentious, while enjoying typical dishes. For Westerners, this is an easy way to get to know this style of Chinese cuisine, with an emphasis on fried foods. This is a great place out for a family, date-night or team evening.
Lunch to celebrate my daughters birthday, was her choice. We got a table on the outside with a nice view of the garden. Luckily it was a cloudy day :-)
Food was yumm and the service was perfect!
