Great experience, service was immensely friendly and food was reasonably priced, all tasted very good as well. Surprisingly enough the 'bak kwa' taste in all the dishes was very minimal, with the majority of them being something you could easily find in a good cafe.
There were only 6 tables in the establishment, so you had better make a reservation before coming.
Overall good experience, food quality is well above average but nothing I would be craving anytime. Will recommend to first timers to try.
Great experience, service was friendly with good option of food which is reasonably priced and nicely done.:)
A Complement to the Chef the 'Bakkwa' Element in the dishes were nicely done and it add flavour/surprise to the dish not at all a gimmick.
Gourmet Aglio Oilo
Nice garlic fragrance noodle with the Gourmet Bakkwa tasture is really good combination.
Nasi lemek Pizza
is well done feels Like having Nasi lemek without rice but not missing coconut flavour, It alittle oily I think is becasue of the Nasi lemek chili, crispy fried anchovies with chilil and slice egg, the flavour of the pizza is quite stroing, advice to order it as a sharing portion.
Cheesy Bakkwa Toastie
nicely toasted bread combine pork floss, mince bakkwa and cheese is nice.
the Yuzu milkshake is quite refreshing
Will defintely come back again.:)
Who would have known that Bee Cheng Hiang have their own bistro. The food was quite good and delicious. They infused bak kwa in most of their dishes. I liked the chilli crab pasta. The risotto was cooked perfectly. As this is a small space with limited seatings, recommend to reserve in advance!
