Great experience, service was immensely friendly and food was reasonably priced, all tasted very good as well. Surprisingly enough the 'bak kwa' taste in all the dishes was very minimal, with the majority of them being something you could easily find in a good cafe.
There were only 6 tables in the establishment, so you had better make a reservation before coming.
Overall good experience, food quality is well above average but nothing I would be craving anytime. Will recommend to first timers to try.
Great experience, service was friendly with good option of food which is reasonably priced and nicely done.:)
A Complement to the Chef the 'Bakkwa' Element in the dishes were nicely done and it add flavour/surprise to the dish not at all a gimmick.
Gourmet Aglio Oilo
Nice garlic fragrance noodle with the Gourmet Bakkwa tasture is really good combination.
Nasi lemek Pizza
is well done feels Like having Nasi lemek without rice but not missing coconut flavour, It alittle oily I think is becasue of the Nasi lemek chili, crispy fried anchovies with chilil and slice egg, the flavour of the pizza is quite stroing, advice to order it as a sharing portion.
Cheesy Bakkwa Toastie
nicely toasted bread combine pork floss, mince bakkwa and cheese is nice.
the Yuzu milkshake is quite refreshing
Will defintely come back again.:)
Who would have known that Bee Cheng Hiang have their own bistro. The food was quite good and delicious. They infused bak kwa in most of their dishes. I liked the chilli crab pasta. The risotto was cooked perfectly. As this is a small space with limited seatings, recommend to reserve in advance!
Love this cozy place! It's a hidden rare gem! The staff there were v efficient esp the older female waitress. My kids absolutely loved the toasties! Can't wait to return again!
If I were to pick something;I would say it's the air-conditioning. It would be great if it's cooler as the weather is quite warm today. Also, there's a few houseflies flying ard. Other than that, it's perfect!
Food yummy but it tastes mostly like bakwa in every food i ordered. I want to give the highest star to the auntie who served us. A very patient, customer service oriented and kind. Not just a typical staff who just bothered to take order and treats customer just a walking payor to the restaurant. Thank u auntie!
Food nice and very cheap with eatigo. Definitely will go back again.
I didnt take all photos of food coz we were too hungry. But food definitely is nice!
Unexpected find along Serangoon Road. Great service and food with surprisingly integration of their products into the dishes. Bee Cheng Hiang have been a household name of Bak Kwa (*BBQ pork Jerky) in Singapore and its great to see a "Experience Center" for guest to enjoy the possibilities of the products. 5 stars, would come again. Keep up the good work 👏
Found this place on Eatigo with 50% off at many time slots. We ordered the laksa pasta, bak kwa toasties and pork enoki.
Bak kwa toasties was my favourite!!! It was a really tasty combination of mozzarella and bak kwa bits, and they were pretty generous with the filling too. The pork enoki was very flavorful, and the pork was quite thick and tender.
The desserts (bak kwa ice cream and bak kwa sugar roll) were a miss, but worth one try.
On top of the yummy food and the awesome discount, the service was excellent too!!! The older lady was so friendly and helpful. Very efficient and attentive!! Makes the place very homely.
10/10 ambience, food, price and service. Coming back again this Saturday!
The food is superb!
I love how they mix the Bak Kwa with all the food. The Ice Cream and Swiss roles are surprisingly good. All the mains are awesome.
Nice service. Highly recommended.
