Great food. High quality of ingredients, and well thought-out preparations.
It is a great combination of the Indian classics, with the unconventional (like truffle naan, for example). The lamb shank is excellent - including the way the meat is tender, coupled with the richness of the very flavorful base which is not overpowering. The tulsi (basil) cod is great.
The handmade breads are great - and many of them are not available in other Indian restaurants in Singapore.
The prawn koliwada (batter fried prawns made in the style of the fishermen folk from Mumbai coastal areas) is addictive - so watch out how many plates you order - they will never be enough.
The desserts - especially the jalebis - immediately take one on a trip to the streetside sweetshops in the lanes of Indian towns.
And the cocktails and drinks concocted by their bartender Kanan (not sure of the spelling - so please excuse if it is off) are unique and refreshingly different.
And the ambiance is great - one can sit indoors, and yet not feel cooped in, as there is a large open doorway which leads to the pavement outside which also has open air sitting. The evenings are especially nice, though more crowded. I have found this a good place for a quiet office lunch on a weekday afternoon.
A great sister restaurant to the amazing and highly decorated Pizza Fabbrica next door, run by the same management. A good find.
Experiential Indian food in Singapore. The best I have ever tasted. I can't recommend it enough.
It was an amazing and something different experience after so long in this COVID. Had done a reservation through Chope for 5.
Restaurant location is awesome and lively. They had a varieties of Gin and especially the cocktails name as well as taste were awesome with amazing representation. Hard liquor had fewer option but still overall it was awesome.
For food they have a chat items, quantity is less compared to price but taste was good. Less vegetarian options. Good place to come and have drinks and side dishes.
But the negative point is it’s quite expensive so good for once in a while.
Every single item we ordered tonight was so delicious. Unpretentious menu that serves amazing dishes at affordable prices. Definitely a place to come back to, to try the rest of the other items in their menu! Rueben is also a gold star for his service and making us feel at home.
Had reservations for an early dinner right after opening but didn't need them, it was a quiet evening. Food was good! Our favorites were the paneer kofta with lachha paratha, which was swimming in delicious full-bodied gravy, and the chicken tikka - don't miss this, it was amazingly tender and juicy! We also had the mustard gobhi and a tandoori prawn special, both were good but a bit mustard-forward for me. Calamari 65 was fiery but a little rubbery. Great selection of mocktails which I appreciated, jaggery daiquiri was a delight!
Good indian food. Tried some kebabs, chats, daal and prawn curry! Enjoyed all of it, especially the curries. Interesting collection of cocktails with lots of different brands, flavours, profiles. I really enjoyed the peddler g&t! Silent pool was decent too!
Tried the ramadan specials. Good food and nice cocktails. Service could be better, got a lack of attention from staff
I've been here twice during a month trip in SG. Their chicken tikka and butter chicken are top-notch. The naan is great too, nice and chewy.
