Had a great birthday celebration at the Siglap branch last night. Food was great, service was excellent and Mr Salvatore made my night with a nice treat! Thanks a lot for the wonderful evening. 5 stars! :)
My husband ordered a 2.4kg tiramisu cake which was delivered last evening. We were utterly disappointed . The cake is Not Tiramisu at all. It’s very much like a Cream cake. We used to be regulars but this cake episode says it all.... it no longer serves traditional Italian fare. There are so many other much better Italian restaurants compared to Pasta Fresca now. It’s sad but sorry to say this, it’s time to buck up fast.
Very nice ambience and pasta are really good. Had the Al Salmone price are reasonable too. The staff there are polite and good strong memories too (shocked me abit to remember our (four of us) orders and type of pasta we want.
Compared to the days when dining-in was only allow for two pax, this place is totally transformed after substantial easing of Covid measures on 29 March 2022. It’s back to the hustle and bustle, and the EPL season makes the place doubly or triply bustling. It’s a cool evening that makes dining along the river a rare indulgence. The staff here are friendly but there is visible signs of fatigue as the service staff are in great shortage after the easing. I have been to their outlet at PLQ so the food and wine menu brings familiarity and assurance of the quality. I ordered the Grissini Parma Ham which is freshly baked breadstick wrapped in Italian Parma ham that pairs very well with full body ripe Primotivo wine to enjoy for a relaxing evening.
Burrata was good, paired with the ingredients. Added Italian sausage to the pesto pasta, but pasta was a bit salty and oily. Overall it was good, just a short distance away from Raffles Place.
Came here for an impromptu lunch. Pizza was fine. But the pasta was delicious! Serving is generous! Love the calm and serene afternoon ambience ! Staff are friendly and quick! Would come back if I'm near the area ! Wanna try their dinner period next! :)
A pasta place to remember - if you're a carbonara fan, you will salivate at the offerings they have here. The bacon carbonara was savoury, and there were ample portions of bacon justifying the price.
Cozy ambience, we got a 4-seater for the two of us because we reserved early. The wine selections, white with pasta did the trick and somehow the calamari was special - it wasn't fried to a crisp golden brown like specialty restaurants.
All in all, perfect pasta place along Boat Quay. Highly accessible and satisfactory meal! Would come again!
$$$ - it is definitely pricey and all the dishes and wine we had added up to a good amount. But the food definitely complements the company! Would come again.
Came by on a Saturday afternoon. We had the Italian rice balls w mozzarella, Linguine Mare E Monti (Crabmeat and button mushrooms linguine) , capellini zucchini e gamberetti (zucchini and prawn) and Alla pastora (bacon, mushrooms, olive oil, garlic). The linguine was pretty good as the flavour of the crab did stand out. Thought that the fried rice balls were pretty tasty as well. However, I’ve had better pastas at this price point and wouldn’t specially come to eat it again. I do recommend others to come try it if you are near the vicinity though.
