Had the liver and bacon pasta, and pepperoni pizza. Both superb. If you like your carbs - al dente pasta; yeasty, crunchy-yet-chewy pizza crust; airy, tender bread that's dense enough to soak up generous amounts of olive oil and balsamic vinegar - this is a good option while people watching at Roberson Quay. Thanks for a great birthday meal.
Your pasta was just too good! And your mushroom soup was delicious. Gelato was awesome! Your service is top notch! Will definitely come back again.
Lucca has always been my favourite Italian restaurant. Their prices are not steep and food has been consistent. My family, friends and I I have been their regular customer for many years as their service crew like Bianca and Jackson never fail in making us feel at home with their excellent service.
Italian quality of food, served with Singaporean/Asian table service speed. The serving was very fast (though we were not rushed at all), and the pasta and pizza were both good and rich tasting with proper flavours. Entertainer 1 for 1 available. No complaints.
Lucca trattoria feels so homely. Great and sharp service of the service staffs! It’s dog friendly as well.
Food wise: 7/10
Affordable: 8/10 (But if you do have entertainer, it is pretty worth it, 1 for 1 main)
Ambience: 8/10
Good option for Italian if you are in the area and they are open until 11PM! The steak is tender and the pasta is al dente. Service is great - the kitchen was already closed but they allowed us to order Tiramisu and even gave a bigger serving.
What a nice hidden gem serving less commonly seen Italian cuisine. As per picture sequence, we had the burrata, tordelli lucchese and diavola pizza.
The burrata was definitely the highlight. Everything went well together - the soft creamy burrata, crispy prosciutto, tangy baby tomatoes and fresh rockets, drizzled with authentic thick balsamic vinegar that adds some slight sweetness to the dish.
The tordelli dumplings had an interesting texture, with whole pine nuts included in the filling. As for the pizza, I liked the chewy dough base. The size was big enough for 2 actually. Both dishes used handmade dough, flavours were also good.
Overall, food was great and would definitely return. I also noticed the giuseppe giusti balsamic vinegar at the entrance of the restaurant - have tried to find this for ages in Singapore but just couldn't find any above 2 medals. Finally found a 4 medal bottle here for sale, though there was only 1 bottle and I bought it, so now there's no more. Hopefully they restock.
Authentic Italian food with quality ingredients. Great for groups. Chill vibes. The pasta and pizza were all great. Personally recommend the lemon shrimp risotto, light zest lightens the palette, and it's not too cheesy.
Absolutely delicious, we finished the entire meal. 100% recommend. Keep in mind, I don't think they are in Robertson walk anymore, they are moving to Tiong Bahru Road.
