This place is nestled at Dempsey hill and I would say it’s a lovely place to meet with friends and have a chat. They serve good pastries and desserts which are delightful. We didn’t get a chance to try but I heard they are good. We tried the thai risotto, pasta and our friend tried fish and chips. Overall meal tasted really good. The truffle fries I felt was overrated but the rest was on point in terms of taste.
Very cozy and beautiful experience. Food was delicious. They're best seller is truffle fries. We did no try but the whole place was filled with the aroma. Their fusion menu was remarkable.
Comfy ambience and nice view of greens. Ordered the fish and chips and a pint of beer - the entire meal was very filling; the fish was nicely seasoned and fried. The service was rather slow, probably because the place was full house, but still - even if you've made reservations you still got to wait for a bit ... Also, as always known, the food here is rather pricey ...
Great ambience! The entrance is quite obscure. Noticed some of the items the reviews here mentioned are not in the menu, like the Tom Yam prawn salad. Do ask for what's their special that is not in the menu. Great coffee, we asked for oat milk as they ran out of soy milk and it was surprisingly good. Food is great and love all of their salad that I have tried so far like superfood etc. Worth a visit.
Came here on a weekday night and it was surprisingly crowded. Even though I made a reservation, I was given a table right at the entrance of the place. Location wise is a little inaccessible unless you are driving.
Food is standard P.S Cafe level. Which is good. The burger was well cooked. Fish and chips were nice too. Their drinks were nice and refreshing.
The star of the show has got to be the sticky date pudding with ice cream! Never leave P.S Cafe without getting it.
I was in Singapore for a short trip and this is one place I would definitely come back. The space is so relaxing and inviting!!! I had lunch and desserts there with my sisters. Everything were delightful. However, the location is not easily accessible by MRT. Thus, you need to get there by car or taxi.
Tossup between 4 and 5 stars. My only issue is that it’s a little pricy for the portion size - could have been a little more… great taste, coffee was though good size and at the right temperature, not cold. Setting is lovely and just nice to sit outside with lots of green and feel ‘out of the city’. PS is always at the higher end of café restaurants here and nice menu for a chain. Food is not simply reheated. Look forward to my next Sunday brunch here…
Update, my guest decided to go for some truffle fries and I then the passion fruit eclair - both very good. Fries is wrong time of day for me, but the signature fries are always a huge portion and most ended up being left. The eclair was fresh and nicely balanced and not too sweet.
My complaint - the desert arrives 15 min before the fries which limited the sharing. Who wants desert before truffle fries?? I know it’s not unusual here, but serving together and in order is something I wish restaurants can improve on. What do you think? Agree?
