I patronized the shop with my wife and 2 sons (toddler). No space in the air conditioned area but was quickly arranged outdoor. I honestly prefer the outdoor. Vertical plantation and cool with sufficient shades. I like their food. I added Avocado to my breakfast and never regret it. My family enjoy despite most customers I saw was youngster or customers of a nearby fitness center/gym. Usually I drive but decided to go with public transport on a Sunday and is quite convenient. Service was marvellous. Never needed to raise my hand or voice. Waiter and waitress always nearby and constantly check with you despite the place is full. Sure to come back.
No fuss Cafe!!! Real fresh and delicious food, beautiful presentation, and best service possible! We had poached eggs with avocado and cappuccino - impeccable!!! The place itself is modern minimalism style with a beautiful back garden and an open kitchen. Many thanks to the chef and crew!!!
Like its sister cafés Ronin and The Plain, PUNCH appeals to your senses even before the food arrives. Its interiors of mostly white furniture with dashes of marble and wood are perfect to up your Instagram game, while the open courtyard at the back of house offers a boost of Vitamin D, wooden benches, greenery and a glimpse into the kitchen. That is, if you can even find the opaque glass door of this signboard-less café. Skip the café-standard breakfast offerings of poached eggs with avocado ($13) or mushrooms ($14) and pick from the lunch menu, which boasts a – dare we say it – punchier line-up.
Good vibes, nice service, a place to spend your morning on.
Batch Brew ($5)-it was too acidic for my liking
Rueben Sandwich ($14)-quite small i believe, Just a decent sandwich, crispy bread, cheese does not overpower, not a fan of the pickle
Earl Grey Pancakes ($16)-earl grey taste is just a hint, crumbs are like a corn stick snack, pear was good, the batter is okay
Service 4.5/5
Ambiance 4.5/5
F&B 3.75/5
One hype coffee shop in Singapore. Easily accessible for tourist (like me) because it is near Clarke Quay Station. The space is not big, divided into indoor and outdoor area, both non-smoking areas. The ambience is cozy and warm, so homey! We ordered Iced Cappuccino and Iced Latte, both were creamy and not too strong. One of the waitresses (the owner's daughter I assume) informed us that the food here are all non-halal. Very thoughtful of her!
Nice coffee, great ambience, excellent service!
Coffee is very good here! Was pleasantly surprised and expectations were low at first. The breakfast menu is great too. Kept it simple and got the scrambled eggs with toast and added a side of sausage. The eggs have cream and milk in them to get that silky finish and perfectly balanced even eaten with buttered toast.
Got to admit things are a little bit pricy here but the location is pretty central. They will help to adjust your orders to your liking. Just ask when ordering.
Service was great, they served water the moment I got in. Coffee is excellent, highly recommend the wicked, which is a mint mocha. Avocado & eggs toast was average though. While the portion of smashed avocado was very generous and poached eggs were done perfectly, the dish was bland. Needed to add salt and pepper and even then, flavours were flat.
Great food in good location with very expat aesthetics.
I had the pasta and it’s really flavourful. Had a bite of my friends’ burger and I wasn’t disappointed at all.
It’s a little bit too pricey but I guess it’s kinda worth the money.
Ordered the avocado toast & smoked salmon thick toast with some eggs. I like the vibe there, good brunch place. Had iced white & pineapple smoothie. I REALLY LOVED THE PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE! There was basil in it, making it really refreshing!!! But minus 1 star because there were some plastic bits inside :( and I ate some. Good thing, they gave some discount.
Overall, it’s not bad~
Nice cozy place near Hong Lim park. For parking it's either the limited parallel street parking or the small car park opposite. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly and good with their service. Water was served the moment we were seated after a short wait. The French toast and Earl grey pancakes were delicious and just the right amount of sweetness. The grilled cheese and Dean's breakfast were yummy and not too over whelming. Coffee were the other highlights. Cappuccino and iced mocha were great tasting. Only downside were probably the size of the Cafe which was small but easily overlooked due to the quality of the food and coffee as well as the great service.
French toast, grilled cheese and iced mocha were all well-executed. Especially loved the ambience of the outdoor seating here that was very calming. Would return to try their other brunch dishes!
First time visiting this cafe and it was wonderful. Food was good and reasonably priced.
Would recommend the outdoor seat as the indoor seats seems crowded and noisy with all the chattering going on. Although the outdoor isn't air conditioned, it was quite breezy with the wall mount fan.
