The ratings are real and well deserved. The lady boss takes so much pride in the food and it really shows.
We started on a high note with the Capricorn, corn kernels in salted egg yolk and curry leaf.. every pop is so delicious. And every dish after that was simply on point and it just got better!
Not a fan of crab but the Green Mamba crab was sooo good, meat is fresh and man Tao is a must to soak up all the gravy goodness. Looking at menu, they really make it a point to offer classic flavours and unique sauces that you can’t find anywhere.
Be sure to order the fried vegetables it full of flavour & wok hey and not over cooked… crunchy to the bite.
The scorched vermicelli had such large prawns and was made so well, love the crispy burnt ends. Be sure to ask for green chillis to elevate the flavour.
We finished dinner with rib eye steak. As a crab restaurant they sure know how to grill a good steak.. the charred garlic cloves nicely wraps up the meat in more flavour!
You can definitely count on Holy Crab to be innovative… even their menu is custom made and full of interactive surprises ($300 just print it). Can’t wait to come back for more on their menu!
Food is good and service is superb! Staff are very friendly and attentive. Boss is always around to ensure service is good and the chef will walk around when he is free a good time to feedback. My favourite is the sesame chicken, have to order, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Crab is firm, wine is smooth and reasonable priced, recommanded!
Great romantic atmosphere, suitable for dinner dates or special occasions. The lady server (or maybe she is the owner i am not sure) was kind enough to suggest us not to try Fries as it’s “like many other places” but instead should go for the bacon/pork belly. The pork belly came in with juicy, satisfyingly fatty slices with chili and honey as the sauce - which made it well balanced in taste. She said the green chili crab there is special too as it’s the only one in Singapore. I tried it and it was not bad at all but I would personally like the traditional chili crab over this green chili one. Fried rice is delicious too. Price is at a high end but it’s worth the price for sure.
