The owners of this place have so much personality. We interacted with all three and really enjoyed our time here. The food was delicious and the staff helped us understand which items went best with naan and which with rice. Everything was perfect. We couldn't go above 2 on the spicy scale. 1 probably would have been enough
Nice place to eat indian food..we ordered mango lassišbutter chicken last but no the least kulfi.i like the food.staff was friendly and service was also good..
One can have a good indian food experience at lagaana barefoot dining located at little India. We had mutton curry and butter chicken. Both of the dishes were really nice
Went with family to have dinner. We were excited to see that the Lagnaa got the Micheline Star. So we decided to have dinner at Lagnaa. We ate level six of spice and dare to win the challenge. And we all did it and put our names on the clip. Really enjoyed the food.
Base is perfect for a great meal with someone special or someone like us who lunch in with friends ambience is a white formal and intimate because of the great lightning
i have now experienced belies the quality of its food. We were warmly greeted and ordered a couple of large beers as my, it was warm,Kulfi, Beer, Mutton Curry, Mango Lassi, Mutton Masala, Butter Chicken, Banana Lassi
Where to start? Well we nearly missed it, it was along a side road along a raised raised pavement under an arch with, what looked like a wooden sign on the arch above our heads. Both have my wife and l were so glad we didnāt accidentally pass it.
A very basic looking restaurant which as we had read and have now experienced belies the quality of its food. We were warmly greeted and ordered a couple of large beers as my, it was warm outside.
After viewing the āMichelin Buddies menuā for two people, photograph attached we decided to go al-a-carte.
So we ordered a Koli Curry Leaf Curry, Buttered Chicken, Palak Paneer, Dahl Makhni & a Buttered Naan with Kashmiri rice. The food was delicious, the Curry gently spicy (having been asked previously how spicy wanted it) the Buttered chicken nice and creamy, Dahl very flavoursome and the Palak Paneer very very good.
All for 140 Singapore dollars. A veritable bargain.
You will see by the photographs they are Michelin listed and are in fact for 2018 although not on the sign yet. Having also gained a well deserved 41/2 star rating.
If in Singapore and liking Indian food give them a visit.
Arrived with a few friends, easily the best Indian food we ever had. The chutney appetizer was great, so were the Nans. Highlight of the dinner was the rice (take the 1st option, the expensive one) - just incredibly made and tender. The owner was also very kind and provided some info about Indian cooking.
what a taste of food there. amazing quality of food . food peoples and environment must visit there and try some food with family and friends
I have been coming to Lagnaa since they opened a long time ago! Everytime I had friends visiting from overseas, Lagnaa was definitely a place where I took them to so we could enjoy exquisite Indian cuisine. I love spicy food and I love Lagnaa's concept of 'choosing your own spice level'! Now, I have been l living overseas for the past 9 years but everytime I come back to Singapore, I will bring my family over. Although some people might think that the food portions are small for the price, we feel that the portions are perfect! The price reflects the quality and we can try a variety of dishes without feeling overly full!
Lagnaa will always be a place for me when I come home. What's even more amazing is how all the staff remembers me - even after a 3 year hiatus due to covid! That is how personal Lagnaa is - it is not just an incredible concept and restaurant - Lagnaa is the definition of home for me. Thank you Kesavan and team - we will always be back! :)
Lovely ambience and authentic Indian food.Chef Kesavan has a great understanding of ayurveda principles and made our food with outstanding perfection. Probably only place in Singapore were you can dine sitting on the floor in a true traditional way.
The "Temple of Truth" for any real chili lover! š¶ļøš„ Test your chili skills and work your way up to the top! I love that the owners are truly passionate and serious about this. Carefully selected spices, blended and cooked to perfection! Yum!
did the spicy challenge level 6- gotta say its not just spicy for the sake of being spicy, the curry is actually delicious too! And the different types of naan were fantastic. choc naan was awesome. wld go back for level 7 and beyond
Food was fantastic, give you the homemade taste. Service from staff was great amd friendly.
We even got a unique momento from the restaurant!
Definitely my new go to restaurant!
Still the same great food, still the same friendly staff. Havenāt been in a few years but thankfully those things havenāt changed. Highly recommended restaurant in Little India.
