It’s one of two vegetarian stores in the hawker centre. Normally avoid 1st and 15th and any important dates in the Lunar calendar due to long queues. Food is alright although the bee-Hoon is probably the best. The sambal is also great. Those that need to be cooked like lor mee, kway chap is also worth trying. Don’t like the nasi lemak though. The servings from the helpers can vary depending who is dishing out. Sometimes they also don’t communicate very well or forget your instructions eg you tell them don’t want chilli, they forgot. Anyway for me it’s alright as they are old folks.

I have a love hate relationship w this veg beehoon stall. Always long q when it’s chu yi and 15th and the beehoon has this burnt chaota taste and portion will be smaller during these 2 days of the month. However on other days I love love love this flavourful beehoon… substantial and really taste and sometimes I can’t believe it’s vegetarian. Avoid these 2 days and ure fine.

San Yuan Vegetarian had a selection of six or so vegetarian dishes. They were out if laksa so I went with my second choice which was still delicious. I would recommend this place for vegetarians and anyone.
