Nice café hideaway in CBD for a quick bite and cuppa. I ordered their delightful almond croissant with a latte. The latte was poured perfectly by the friendly barista. Nice music in the background to chill. Will be back.
I don't drink coffee, and it is bizarre to go into a cafe I know.. but they have tea and other stuff; I had the mushroom soup and pizza combo which was a good deal and both are hearty and filling enough for lunch.
If you walk by too quickly you may miss the front entrance as part of the office wall of glass, but once you step inside you are transported into a comfortable cafe, bookshelves, wooden stools that is surprisingly deep including take seating in back. The staff is terrific, willing to chat and make recommendations. I tried a toasted coconut-topped kaya-filled pastry treat and an americano coffee. Both were nice, I recommend not warming up this pastry, the pastry layers are delicate and easily become crispy. Many other food options to try and nice staff make this a cafe to come back to.
