Always a pleasant experience. Staff are. Attentive and never gruntle to provide assistance. Even if its the smallest request, the staff will gladly do. The concept of overservicing is presented in hai di lao, hence the overpriced food which would cost half as less if you bought them at a nearby supermarket. A decent meal with about 42 sgd per person. The free flow of sides and drinks really make up for the overpriced food. Generally, remb to book an appt slot before turning up or the waiting time is about 50 mins if you walk in. Overall pleasant experience for large groups of 10. Enjoy!

Its been a while since Ive visited HDL. Today, ive been reminded of why HDL dominates the high end hot pot industry. Fantastic service from 凤芝 from the moment we step into the restaurant till we leave. Extremely thoughtful service from her. Appreciate it! Food wise, quality is top notch and fresh. The experience is worth every penny spent. Great food and top class service! Not to mention, the restaurant has relatively good outdoor views too. This HDL outlet is located at level 6 of Royal Square @ Novena. They take up the entire level so the lift goes directly to the restaurant. Will definitely return!!

Disclaimer: I've never enjoyed a dining experience more memorably as when the performer skimmed my sister's hair with a skein of noodles. :)) The handwritten note in mandarin with Pepa pig drawn was a good touch as well although I wonder what would happen were we an Indian family? Total bill was over $230 for 5pax and came with $4.68 deduction from our $6.50 parking as we came before 5pm. I liked the flavour collagen soup best and considered it tastier than Beauty-in-a-Pot's but my sister called it "fake" collagen. Have no idea why. Maybe because of the turmeric colour?
