Reasonable priced above average zi char. Recommended to call before going down. Weekend queue can be 1 hr for evening. Very popular with the residents nearby and grab food. Dishes is better than hor fun and fried rice. Some food are nice some are average.
The place looks OK and waiting was a bit longer but all served together. Love the nyonya curry fish head as it was delicious. Price was good for the fish head. The others were nice too but portion can be slightly bigger since it's a hawker center. We ordered the belacan chicken, fried yam ring, sea cucumber and fried Sambal vege.
Stuffy place but food is good. Zhi char, roast meat/duck, mixed rice, fei siong noodles, "face" branded ban mian, tim sum, tenderbest (western food) and fried oyster/carrot cake, hokkien mee.
Most of the food is above average and reasonably price.
Be more careful when ordering dishes from the mixed rice stall though. Different staff charged differently.
Roast meat/duck (branded Hua Zhai) offers free soup when dining in.
Was meant to be a 24 hrs joint when started. Now usually starts between 7.30am (tim sum) and 9am (fei siong)/mixed rice..... Others start catering usually from 10.30am onwards.
Only halal certified stall is Tenderbest - western. Wide variety of pastas, spaghetti, chicken, prok, beef dishes......as good as it gets and very affordable.
Parking wise - ample (above bis terminus). With a newly install small lift (wheel chair +2 pax max)
KIMLY zhi char is very popular.
