Oasis Taiwan Porridge - Singapore - Photo album

Went 2 times in 2018, the most recent was in this year's Chinese New Year (Feb). A few points to take away: 1. Food was homely, like 家常菜, and I could see quite a number of elderly folks eating there . I was eating with my family so it feels nostalgic since we do not eat daily family meals anymore. T
Definitely not the same, if it's still claims to be the original Oasis Taiwan Porridge. Served food is expensive. But the cheaper alternative is to buy the mixed rice.
Charged me higher either because I don't speak Chinese or am not Chinese. Usually when I come with my Chinese friends they will just charge $3 for basic mixed rice. But when I came alone this time, they charged me higher than usual. Outrageous!
Great restaurant level Chinese food at decent price. No need to wait even on weekends. But this could be worrying as their business is limited. Hope they continue to remain in business!
The same Oasis my parents used to bring me to near Kallang Stadium. Not as magnificent as before, but the food is still just as great.
Average food. Poor hygiene. During my visit, there were cock roaches running all over the place.
The food taste is average. The price is a bit to the high side.
Nothing special in terms of food.. but good place for a cup of coffee
