Food Lovers Only

I patronised the restaurant on Thursday evening with my family for dinner. We ordered a mushroom leek cream pasta, a tom yum prawn pasta, prawn aglio olio and a korean grilled chicken with kimchi fried rice. Food wise, it was good! It was like my 3rd time coming here. Tom yum pasta was good. Pasta was al dente, cream was not too thick, which is good as if too thick, it will feel quite filling and ‘jelak’ after consuming it. Prawn aglio olio had enough spice. Loved the idea of adding spinach into it. Mushroom and leek pasta was good. Pasta was of right texture. Cream consistency again was spot on. Leeks added something interesting to the dish. I liked that we were able to add bacon into the pasta as mushrooms weren’t available. Kudos to the staff for recommending so. Lastly, the grilled chicken was well marinated. Went well with the kimchi fried rice, which was fragrant and tasty. Service was good too. However, some points of improvement I feel were that the wait staff should clear the plates just before serving dessert. Also, I wanted to eat the sweet divine dessert, but was left disappointed as neither that nor even the chocolate one was available. I hope the next time I return I will get to eat the other desserts. Lastly, special thanks to the staff for helping us recover my mum’s credit card after she accidentally dropped it in the restaurant after paying the bill. Staff were calm and steady when handling the matter and the card was retrieved the next day. All in all, I had a great meal. I also like to mention the bulgogi rice with egg. The mixture of the runny egg with the bulgogi sauce and mayonnaise is a perfect match! I will definitely be back again! :)
