A large hawker center - spread over 2 floors, and one can find just about any cuisines including the typical Chinese and Malay food, drink/desserts stalls, and a few that does not always found in every hawker centers - mango pudding, peanut soup/ball, baguette, gourmet burger.
My favorite is definitely Ah Boling peanut soup stall. Really good price and consistent quality. Have to try to mango pudding in the stall next door, and other stalls.
It's a short walk along Beach Rd if you are in the Bugis area.
CNY eve dinner. Had the Roti John combo, Beef Steak Kuah, Nasi Pataya combo and Mee Kuah. The gravy/sauce flavorful as expected from Deen but the noodle for the mee kuah a little undercooked. Roti John was drenched with cheese sauce and mayonnaise. I supposed some people like it 5hat way but I prefer my Roti John simple like the original Botanic Garden.
Lunch is really crowded usually....even with the current SMM.
We especially liked the Keng Heng Whampoa Lor Mee and Popiah Rojak.
The muffins were good too.
Will be back to try out the other hawker stalls in Golden Mile Food Centre.
