They ran out of pork katsu by the time I arrived for lunch, which wasn’t too late. Settled for the teriyaki chicken instead. It looks more like sweet and sour pork and tastes somewhat like it too. I was actually impressed by the portion vs price. I’m glad I discovered this place and will be back for more.
One of the most value for money Japanese stalls. Though the food is not “authentic”, it’s still delicious and generous in portions. You can get a good curry katsu don, or katsudon for roughly $8.
The set meals and other dishes are also really decent and bang for buck.
Delicious and cheap. We stumbled on this place randomly last year and hadn't realized the name or where it was. Glad we came back to it. The katsu is nice and crisp and you get a very generous portion. Lot of breading but also a lot of meat. I don't mind it since I'm a fan of the crunch. They also include a miso soup and a small potato salad which is super refreshing.
Worth to give it a try, the place is not so crowded, easy to get table and seat. Japanese curry is slightly spicy than usually what we have, stall owner might be adjust the spicyness to suit the Singapore taste.
Best Japanese curry rice with pork cutlet in Singapore under $10 and the portion is huge!!!!
And they now have curry udon with pork cutlet at $7.80. This is super yummy and the best curry udon I had in my life. I am not sure how they manage to keep the price down! Pls support your local F&B business!
They have a branch at my office and near where I live. Now my life is complete with Otoko Japanese food.
$9.90 bento set. I had swap out the rice for veg. Value for money. Items are all prepared on the spot. Not pre cooked. Wat else can I say? Look at the photo and try it for urself.
Nice Saba Fish, boneless. Curry with spicy taste. Worth the price 💪
