Decided to pop by this place after checking out all the rave reviews. very interesting layout of the shop, can see that the owner really spent time on it. The food was well worth the price. It is not like woah ..Michelin star...but more of a quality Japanese food for a very affordable price. The sashimi is really nice, thick and succulent, do try their dinner sets!

Always my favorite Japanese restaurant in Singapore. The sashimi was fresh, the roll was special and nice. What I like the most is I always like to try different roll but always worried that portion was big, Uoshin are different, their roll order was good which only 4 pieces, so we don't need to worried order more to try.
The chef Shin was nice and he really did a great job on the sushi bar. Keep up the good job
I have no idea why this place is not packed. I love sushi and been to all the good places in singapore - but this place is such a little gem - so much that I'm contemplated not writing this review so I can keep it all to myself :"). But yes, the sushi is fresh, salmon belly is amazing, aburi salmon is to die for. Love love love!
We were in the vicinity checking out some shops till late. By the time we were done and free for dinner, it was already 9.15pm. We chanced upon this place and since their last order was 9.30pm, we gave it a go. Since it was saturday at 9.15pm, the place was already empty and we felt a little sheepish for delaying their closing time. We took a while to place our orders (past 9.30pm) but the service staff was very patient. The food was reasonably priced for some (e.g. chicken karaage for $5 and chawanmushi for $3). The service staff (who also doubled up as cashier then) was so patient and nice, we will definitely return.
Surprisingly not many people know the place. You really get what you pay for here. Price range 18-25++ but food is fresh, nice, and filing. Excellent service. Timing of food coming out is uncertain.
Not a bad place at all. Couldn't find a reason to think about it as memorable or willing to be back soon, but the staff was very helpful and the food was good. Prices are just ok
My wife and I discovered this place by accident. Feels a bit like stepping into the owners living room, with a warm and friendly ambiance. Food was excellent.
