A very good bowl of ba chor mee. The soup has a rich flavourful depth to it and the noodles were beautifully coated with addictive pork lard. A shame that the store is hidden in a relatively obscure location.
Decent bowl of bak chor mee. Service is sincere. They missed out my order and provided me with a coupon to claim a free bowl of their signature bcm next time. Great service recovery!
Jan 2020. I liked this place. Ample sunlight, not too crowded (@2pm), free parking by the road side with a rustic Malaysian coffee shop charm.
Of course, more importantly, the food was not bad.
I ordered the most basic Signature Mee Pok at $6. It came with 3 slices of mock abalone, 1 鱼姣，1 prawn and a few pork slices.
It was heavy on chilli and vinegar, and it worked well for me. ;)
Nice selection of local noodles, fishball, mince pork or prawn noodles. the soup was very nice and we ordered the signature and prawn noodles.
It was convenient getting there and plenty of parking space behind the stall if you drive.
The mee pok noodles were springy and al dente. I was surprised it was served with sliced abalones and jumbo prawns, which makes it truly value for money. Generous servings of pork lard = incredibly flavourful meal experience in my opinion :)
