Must try their chicken!! We got a half and half. It was so good and they were extremely generous with their sauce!

Quarter fried chicken lunch set ($9.90) served with choice of drink and appetizers. Crispy and flavorful Korean fried chicken. Order the half-half flavor to taste both the spicy and soy fried chicken. My preference would have been soy, but too much of it may become unappetizing, hence a mix of flavors was satisfying for the palate. As my spice tolerance is average, I do find the sauce a little spicy but bearable. The fried chicken was juicy, tender, well coated, and served hot. Do complement it with the side dishes - coleslaw, radish, and kimchi that’s refreshing and packed with flavor!

Tried the small whole chicken (actually just half a spring chicken) and the sliders. Food quality was good but portions quite small for the price.

Went here on the 4th of April 2021. I ordered the Green apple Mojito, the fried Mandu and the truffle cream Tteokbokki. First, the Green apple Mojito. Honestly I feel like it’s overpriced. It is in a nice glass mug and had a slice of lemon in it which was nice. However the flavour felt artificial to me. There wasn’t too much ice which left plenty of drink but for $5.5 I would rather have gotten sprite or something. (Which they have for $2.5) The fried Mandu was exactly what was in the picture. There was plenty of stuffing and the crispness of it on the outside was perfect with the soft filling. There wasn’t too much crispness either since only part of the shell was crispy (the part where it folds together). It was pretty filling and I’d say it was kinda worth the $8.9 price Finally, the Truffle cream Tteokbokki. This one took a while to be served, taking almost exactly 30minutes (well it can’t be helped, it’s truffle stuff) to be served. The white slices (rice cakes I assume) were cooked to perfection and were very soft and chewy. There were plenty of mushrooms and cream too. The cream somehow fits the rice cake’s taste perfectly. Despite all that, however, it didn’t feel like a meal. I mean I was full after that and all, but it felt more like individual dishes that didn’t complement one another. Another part of it is that for the price, although this certainly wasn’t bad, I would’ve definitely preferred a meal at McDonald’s or mos burger. Now to be fair, this isn’t what I would usually order. I just went with whatever sounded interesting. The place had its origins in selling fried chicken, and I got none of that. Maybe my rating of this place will improve if I go back and try their noodles , fried chicken and fries which I prefer more. However one thing I can say is that in exchange for the price, they definitely don’t hold back on the ingredients. The serving sizes are standard but with lots of ingredients and they don’t try to mix in cheaper stuff to lower the price. A little bit more about the service. The service was kinda awkward. There was no one outside to show me to my table and when I walked in myself I was told to wait outside (though only for a minute). A couple minutes after I’ve sat down, when I’m still looking through the menu, an employee askes if I’m ready to order, and obviously I wasn’t . This feels like less of an issue of the staff and more of an issue with the shop being understaffed (there was a guy there that seemed like he was undergoing training so this will get better). I’ve included the receipt below Some final tips: stir the drink that you order. The “flavour” is at the bottom so if you just drink it right away you’ll either get pure tonic water or pure extract (or sth) so remember that The prices are inclusive of GST but in fine text on the menu it says that prices do not include the 10% service charge, so keep that in mind when ordering
