It's eat rice day so this is the place lah. If you are around this area definately this is a must visit place. Came during lunch time and boy was it busy. Delivery orders and people in Q, it was hectic. In fact with the 2 person per table arrangements makes it harder to get seats. So we decided to have it to go. I ordered the Grilled chicken and Sotong set. Used to be $ or thereabouts but now it's $10. And for takeaway additional $0.50. For a meal that's a bit more expensive but since I travelled this far then I guess it's a no brainer. Got my food about 15mins later which is rather quick considering the number of orders and people. A few things I noticed that was kinda different. The Sotong was way smaller then what it was I believe. Maybe I'm wrong but the first time I came here a year back it wasn't this small. Hhhmmmm .... my eyes deceived me maybe? There are other minor things but not gonna be nit picky about it. Now the positive, the guy mending the cashier and serving is a gem! Wonderfully polite, with a sunny disposition! Now, he is a keeper. Although the price has increased I'm telling myself that it is to pay people like him a bit more for their fortitude. Kudos to him and the lady working with him. And back to the food, the Grilled chicken, nothing to complain lah. It was Grilled nicely and juicy on the inside with a nice not overpowering smokey taste. And the thick curry gravy just adds to the kick. However, I have this slight unease about the chilli sauce. Somehow it doesn't click with the rest of the dish. I don't know, it's just me. Definately visiting yet again. The price may be on the expensive side but hey, the service is awesome so that makes up for it. Food : 3 / 5 Staff : 4.5 / 5 Ambience : 3 / 5

Not bad.... everything taste delicious except the chili a bit spicy. Fried tofu is the best i tried so far. As for the chicken wings, taste like those Pasar Malam stalls. This is my second time buying, their frying standards is consistant too. Price wise on online platform, slightly expensive than physical store.

The fried chicken skin are crispy and the chilli is alright. Not spicy enough and a bit diluted. So far I always eat Ayam Peyet Set only.

Really clean and tidy place with lots of varieties of food and all of them taste good. Do try the Dimsum shop, Soo many varieties of dimsum's.. you would fall in love with. The sweet and sour pork was my favourite, along with chicken and sticky rice. There is also an Indian shop here, just like the rest of Singapore to cater to Indian foodies. The duck roast also tasted good. I would suggest and request you to clear the table by yourself, though people don't do it.

Ordered the Ayam Penyet Set. Surprised no Tempeh included. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fried tofu is nicely done. The vegetables are fresh and the curry sauce added a nice touch on the overall taste of the whole dish. The spicy level is on the mid-high side. Do note that the food trays available are dirty which is not the fault of the stall as they are centralised cleaned. Worth the queue/travel to eat: Yes

One of the better Ayam panggang I've tried around Singapore. The chicken is well charred and the sauce goes well with the chicken. Super flavourful and the curry on the rice is amazing. If there's only one downside I can think of, is that the chicken may be abit dry st some parts, probably due to the bbq. But would definitely go back there again. Highly recommended! 😊

Ordered this on food delivery app - the set comes with curry sauce and chili (spicy 👍🏻) packed separately which are really nice! The chicken is fried to perfection, super crispy outside and tender inside - this is surprisingly great even though it’s not eaten on the spot.

Ordered ayam penyet, fried prawns, chicken wings and beef ball soup via Deliveroo. Food was surprisingly good and fresh. Pro-tip: don’t order add-on curry (50c for a puny tub) as the ayam penyet set already comes with one free tub.
