Pre-covid had the noodles & also the braised dish. Post covid come & have it again. The noodle seema to be getting smaller portion. Anyway, where can you get $3.50 for such special dish.

Braised flavor is a total waste of time queuing. This might suitable for people who preferred having a dish without any taste but look appealing to it.

Perhaps it’s just the dish but sometimes there may be a good reason for certain dishes dying out. The broth is an odd sweetish salty. Ingredients are a strange mix of cuttlefish, pig’s intestines, bits of pork belly, chicken wing, tau pok, offal and kang kong. It reminds me of satay bee hoon and cuttlefish kang kong because of some of the ingredients and the colour of the sauce but not as tasty.

Found myself at People's Park Complex. A quick google led me to try this stall with headlines like "last stall in Singapore serving this". I arrived a bit too late, and was the last customer they served for the day, so some ingredients had sold out and there was no rice left.
However, I enjoyed the soup. It was no where near as pungent as I was expecting for fermented bean paste, instead it had a lightness to it that made me finish the entire bowl. I will definitely go for the rice next time to really soak up all the soup. The chicken wing and pig skin were the highlights of the ingredients. Another Singapore gem worth trying at least once.

Extremely delicious fermented bean paste soup noodles. The consistency of the soup is perfect as well as complementing the noodles well. They also sell another cantonese dish called loh kai yik, which is like the soup noodle dish but without the noodle and served with rice instead. This stall is the only stall left in Singapore serving these unique cantonese dishes and probably the only place in Asia where you will ever find these bean paste soup noodles and rice. Come down and try it before it's too late! It's one of the best and most unique Singaporean dishes.

one and only dish left in Singapore, maybe even Asia. Selling since 1990s i heard. Taiwan also has it but this differs as it is cooked with red fermented bean curd. The red fermented bean curd adds a unique flavour. Broth is also cooked using several herbs, seasonings. Ingredients include chicken wings, pork belly and many more. You can order ala carte / or set meal ($4/$6/$8). Can pair with rice / noodles. Dont forget their chilli! Try it before this dish goes extinct.

This stall is selling something however I just cannot associate its taste with braised flavor. Potion wasn't really value for money. Won't go back again.
