Nice ambiance, many dishes have been sold out so we did not have full menu to choose from.
The best dish here I would say was the Three flavours beef. The rest was general and there’s a dish called salted egg Yam is super weird as the combination doesn’t work, it would be better with eggplants. The sour pickle beef is kinda strange because it’s more sweetish than the pickle flavour.
I will come back to try other dishes when they are back in stock.
Pretty big restaurant with an upstairs area that can seat larger groups.
Expansive menu although many items were sold out - I wonder if they don't regularly have everything.
Ingredients tasted high quality. Everything had a kick, but not overly spicy that you can't taste other flavors. Would go back
The mapo tofu was tasty but very oily and got very salty towards the end. Fried rice and black fungus was ok. The 水煮鱼 here used the normal bean sprouts instead of the longer stemmed ones which is what 水煮鱼 is supposed to use. They seemed to have adjusted the taste for the local palate.
Loved the Sichuan food. The boiled beef hotpot, egg fried rice and diced chilli chicken were BOMB! SO SO GOOD. can't wait to be back ☺️☺️
Authentic Chinese Sichuan cuisine. Great taste of various chillies and amazing portion sizes. We ended up carrying more than half our order home.
My favourite dish was the Mala Chicken Tofu. The black beans, and Mala taste were a fabulous combination of flavours.
Definitely will be back for more.
Small restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seatings. Place is well laid out, not excessively crowded. Table size is reasonable as well. 水煮鱼 was above average, serving size was average. 辣子鸡 was good, plate is big but not a lot of chicken. Crispy and well seasoned. Fried French Beans were great, it was a broader type. If they used a slimmer one, it would be better in terms of texture.
