Kway Teow Mee Prawn (Soup). This prawn noodle can't really compare with the famous pork and prawn based version of Beach Road, East Coast or Geylang nor can it fight Adam Road or Zion Road version of a more sweeter seafood based broth. Rather, it is its clear prawn broth with pork lard that makes it a hearty breakfast as the stall sells out usually by lunch.

Uncle who is the main cook has maintained his food standards from 7 years back. No doubt the prawn size has shrunk (probably due to rising cost), but pork rib is soft while still retaining its taste – unlike competitors who use prawn and rib for soup stock, resulting in tasteless proteins. The soup is inarguably the best (strong savoury taste) if compared to the likes of many popular prawn mee stores.

Chef is friendly, chef assistant is quirky, but if you are in your best behaviour, they will open up with good chats and recommendations. Opens as early as 5am so that the early birds will not go hungry! Fly there to satisfy your prawn noodle craving.
