This is probably the only place that serves the best Hokkien Prawn Mee in SG for me!
Their place was very close to where I used to live when I was still based there.
It was a stone’s throw away from Eunos MRT Station.
I was brought here by my roommate on my first week in SG and 4yrs later, it is still my go-to place when I crave for Prawn Mee.
Their noodles are not soggy like the ones sold in hawkers and Kopitiams.
They give generous amounts of juicy prawns and the crispy pork bits on top seals the deal for this meal.
Served best witth pickled green chilis!
Definitely one of the things I utterly miss from SG! 👍🏻
Besides the eponymous fried Hokkien prawn noodle, you should sample its fried omelette oysters in various cooking styles.. hotplate, plain, spicy etc.
The boss is usually the man working his magic around the fiery wok, in his iconic long sleeve shirt, leather shoes and that Rolex watch.
National Museum should ask for a set of his attire as part of our national memory and history.
A hawker hero and national living treasure.
Boss uncle still frying his hokkein mee wearing business shirt after so many years...
Generous portion even at the lowest price $5. 3 medium size prawns and crispy pork lard. 👍
the chilli is a bit tangy type, some might prefer the belachan type
