The Soup Spoon used to have some stores in Indonesia, but unfortunately it closes down years ago. Their concept is quite cool, serving only soups. But probably a little to idealistic for Indonesian consumers which loves to eat different kinds of food in a restaurant.

I Had a late dinner with my fiancé here. Why? Because they are the only place still open at our time of visit haha. The place is not too big, with several seats available. Cutleries, peppers, salts, are available in a dedicated corner.

Every soup comes in with a piece of bread (either white bread or whole wheat bread. Or is there any other kinds?). Here is what we had:

Boston Clam Chowder :
A chowder contains chunks of clam and some other ingredients. What I love about this is that not every place can create a seafood-based soup without the fishy, foul smell. They got rid of the smell, and the result is just amazing; heaps of claims that can be found in every scoop of the soup.

Mushroom Stroganoff:
The strong taste are quite similar to most mushroom soups you might find. But what I love is that they are pretty much generous with the mushrooms; there are heaps of it. How do I enjoy it? Cut a bit of the bread that comes with it, dunk it into the soup. So good!

Chicken Ham & Cheese Briowich:
As their using Brioche as the bread, you can taste that it is a little sweet. The sandwich itself consists of Chicken Ham, Cheese, arugula leaves, and slices of tomatoes. I also tasted a hint of mustard being spread across the sandwich. I love the whole thing stacked up together. The sweetness of the Brioche and the cheese flavor covers up the bitterness from the Arugula Leaves, which is good for those who doesn't like bitter taste from veggies like myself.

I don't really like soups, but from what I experienced, The Soup Spoon serve really good soups. Definitely will return here the next time I visit Singapore.
