The best wanton mee so far. I’ve been going there for 10 years. Moved to KL for work and I miss it terribly.

As good as it gets. A neighborhood legend…and maybe a little beyond. This is the essential truth about hawkers and street food…perfect a single offering over a long enough period of time while growing a loyal following and magic happens. There’s always a line, but there always is with anything worth having in Singapore. The good news is that it moves…the crew is older, but they get the job done. What keeps me up at night is the fact that there may not be young ones to keep the fire burning.

Overall a very good plate of noodles. Flavour and texture are correct and the soup has a distinct taste of ikan billis. Would definitely go again.

The noodle was Al dente. Seasoning leans on the lighter and saltier than sweet side. The latter is more local with emphasise on dark soya rather than light soya. The prawn dumpling was big and you get 3 of this and a well braised mushroom. The chicken feet was large sized and you get the little crunch on the skin. Not to be mistaken, they are well braised and tender. Similarly, it leans on the lighter style. The 2 ladies are friendly and the queue moves reasonably fast.

Needs no intro as long queues & hard parking. But too distinct & wonderful old school taste not to review. From unique thinner mee (May need flossing after meal) Al dente, vinegar chilli, plain looking but oh so fresh slice, can taste faint stint of star-anise meat marinate (Enjoy slowly) 83 yr old ah ma with 40yr experience still stands in front! Where else to find value at $4.50 & all so fine labour of love

Noodle is good but the char siew is a bit weird and dry. Queue expected at the stall but not too long. Only 3.5$

Typical traditional wanton mee with hand made shrimp wantons. Overall was worth a try. Their shrimp wanton was worth commenting. Each piece is filled with a whole shrimp, carrots and pork fillings.

Brings back memories of my school days. Noodles were still springy and wantons sizeable. The charsiew was somewhat dry though, but the noodles made up for it.
