Review Jack's Place - Singapore

Christmas season, just drop by without reservation for lunch. Now have Christmas menu.very quiet and peaceful to have lunch. Service quick even though they are short handed. Floor is wet due to some issue with the building. Still restaurant is nearly filled.When Punggol one opens I think it be more busy

It's one of my favourite Jack's place branches as it's quite peaceful and service is usually warm. A pity that it's so empty now because Safra made it so hard to reach the restaurant with SMMs in place (you need to take the lift to level 1 car park and cross to the other lobby). Please don't close down this outlet!

I wanted to buy my dad a Father’s Day meal despite my being overseas and not able to celebrate with him in person. Contacted Jack’s Place @safra punggol who made special arrangement for me to pay for the meal via paylah! My parents had such a great time at one of our favourite family places and I was able to call in to wish my dad a happy Father’s Day! Great food as usual! Thank you to the management- esp Jason, Mr Mohan and Kavinath for making Father’s Day a special one this year for my dad and the whole family ☺️☺️☺️

Dine@ jack place punggol( safra) was substantial. We especially enjoyed the dinner, the food so good. Mr Mohan his service was extremely excellent and professional, make our new year dinner great, his suggestion for our meal was great and rest of the restaurant team (wendy and another lady staff) were also forthcoming and warm in their super service. Definitely we'll be return soon for another dinner. Huge Thanks for the entire team of punggol safra. Happy new year 2022

Nice quiet place to go for dinner on a weekday at SAFRA Punggol level 1. Huge variety of food & combinations on their menu. They offer lots of dining promotions as well, be sure to check what they offer otherwise waiter will inform u of whatever promotion they having. Food wise is pretty average, I believe they can do better than that as I have been to most of their outlets Island wide. They should do a quality check on what they serve. Service wise is okay, waitering stuff were attentive. I have been dining at Jack's place since i was a kid so I find the dishes on the menu quite reasonably priced. Will definitely patronise Jack's from time to time and hopefully they improve the food quality at this outlet.

Food is nice and as always good service from the Manager Mohan and his other staff. They always help me when I havr some request. And to have a nice service everytime I go together with my family. Keep it up

Been Going to Punggol Safra's outlet for many years and never fails to disappoint, the food quality is good, generous portions, taste great, good and quiet atmosphere, food comes out quite fast and hot, the Manager and his team if waiters are always polite, friendly and helpful, love going to this outlet and will continue patronizing this outlet, though I hate the Nex Outlet though service slow as hell waitress rude and unfriendly, food mediocre too, Punggol Safra Jack's place outlet is the best

Quiet, quaint, good quality food and value for money. It's a great place to escape from the horrendous fighter jets sound at low flying heights in Punggol. Go for the 1-for-1 promotion weekdays between 2:30pm to 5pm. They also provide setting meal for students at $9.90. More worth it.

Terrible service. They only had 4 wait staff on a busy Sunday evening and it was impossible to get anyone's attention. Ordered a medium rare steak that came well done. Ordered a curly fries and onion rings that become French fries. 20 mins after ordering they told us they ran out of baked potatoes and offered the replacement of mashed potatoes/French fries?! Standard of jack's place has really dropped and I don't recommend this place at all

Very bad services, requested to have Sambal sauce for my steak but one of the Chinese young waiter did not bring it to me and he showed me a weird look to me & he continued decor the candles on each table. As for the food is not really nice as others Jacks's Place outlet. Waiters / Waitress in Punggol Safra working attitude are really horrible. ���

It is an OK place. The staff though not fluent in English but still went out of the way to cater to our requests.

Terrible food n service attitude. Medium rare becomes medium well. How can they use salt to mask the taste of lobster bisque n escargot? -Horrendous!!! Baked potato now seved without aluminium foil(jacket taken off)? Most basic garlic is charred n burnt!! What has become of Jacks Place?

Was very happy have bring my family to have lunch just now. The service staff (chinese never saw his name) was very alert even when I make a lot of request they always attend to me with a smile�. Great services you have� will go again soon with my friends next ��

The floor manager, Casey at safra punggol needs to be more professional in his work. He has been talking on the phone in hokkien while attending to customers. Also, it could be due to his overly engrossed conversation on the phone, he did not take my safra membership card. I went over to the counter to pass him my membership card, he told me "too late already. All billed." Worst experience I have with jp.

I too shared the same experience there. I was there with my family to have dinner to celebrate our kid's birthday in advance. I made the reservation in advance for this day n even reconfirmed it on it's day itself. Turned out to my shock, despite reservations made, Casey, which I believe to be the manager on duty made us wait even more with the reason saying "He will need to clear the front quenue first then attend to us. " Now why would we have to wait more when we made the effort to call n make reservations in the first place?" So does it means reservations made aren't to be treated important for that matters? I wonder n yet still Qs has to be cleared first before to us. Not only that, when he finally attended to us, He put us at a corner table next to the kitchen even when I told him I have an elderly on wheelchair n he remarked that it's considered as a private area. Wat a joke! And it's during peak period on a Sunday how would u expect people to even notice or attend to u when u asked for service when u r put at a corner table like that. N then almost proper service was only provided only after peak period has lessen. Wat for? YES we all know the food is always fantastic at Jack's place n it's worth every cost back in this case I think it will be for the food only coz to be attended with such attitudes honestly will only ends up in huger disappointment thinking that that's where our hard earn money has to be spent in such way when cmon I can easily dine elsewhere for steak n maybe perhaps pay even cheaper n maybe much much friendlier n better service for the cost. You know wats worst at the end of the dinner when we asked back for our cake that was meant for our kid to cut n celebrate, when we left, we found out that our cake was ended up melted n softer than a usual cake should, which we had no choice but to suspect that perhaps they didn't even put in the fridge at all as they said they did. Jack's Place has been so well known for their good food n good services n friendliness in quite a few of their other older outlets for the longest time but to be reviewed so badly for such service despite the food is really such disappointment not by just me alone but by also so many others who share the similar bad experiences surely means that indeed something is seriously wrong with this outlet that I sincerely feel that as a customer that needs to be done n attended. I mean Wat for if Jack's place is so good and then yet the service people who r running this outlet provide such service to only end up getting such horrible bad reviews in the end? Is any of this worth it? Yes fine okie maybe u might say who cares at most in the end the outlet might just close down here n start another elsewhere or maybe u all will change the crew to improve things around but so wat? Wat for ? My question is to u Jack's Place is why want to let such thing happen when instead actually things can be changed n improve if people working there can make the effort or is it simply becoz well who knows maybe the staff there prehaps don't even love their jobs therefore that's y they don't even care whether bad reviews or bad service at all. Think abt it? This is the outcome u let me feel when I come to Punggol Safra Jack's place. My patience is constantly challenged with such bad experience caused. N further now thinking for the cost I paid with the fact I am not only expected to wait to be sitted n yet then placed at the bad corner of the restaurant while the rest in line instead got way better services than I did n then in the end my cake got melted. What else worst is when u hope your kid will enjoy but end up not happy n your husband tells u that actually the food was only so so n all becoz of the bad service n experience that was provided n to think that I put in that extra effort to make it a happy n enjoyable one for them ended up like this n we yet still had to pay a big amt for the meal. That's really so sad. My advice to all out there, if u want to enjoy Jack's place the way it should n worth every penny of your hard earn money seriously consider going elsewhere better than this Punggol Safra one and seriously reconsider if u ever intend to make reservations coz don't even bother for why should u need to when ur reservations r not even treated seriously but Instead give even worst service than they already are. Sad to say, this will be my first n last time I will ever come to this outlet to dine. Jack's Place I am sorry to say this - but congratulations u have just lost yet another customer because if such service provided by such disappointing staff.

The food is way too overpriced for the portions. Also, for paying ~$30 per person, the waitstaff mixed up our orders repeatedly. I really don't know why people bother to come back with the many other affordable options around.

Went just to have quick bite, end up took us 40 min for the dishes to be served.<br/><br/>We ordered:<br/>* crispy sampler platter - only like the mushroom, but the battered hard and too tick.<br/>* curly truffle fries topped with parmesan cheese - this is crispy and yummy- Should Try.<br/>* apple pie a la mode - not really eat it apart the vanilla ice cream. The pie is too tick and tasteless.<br/>* lemongrass with aloe vera - too sweet. End up asking ice water just to add it on the drink.<br/>* ice coffee<br/><br/>We went to the one in compassone, their service is ok, but their serving is too long.<br/><br/>It were only 3 tables that eat at that time.

One of my fave restaurant and always be. Have been a frequent patron of this eateries place. <br/>Great ambience, great food and good service<br/><br/>Always go for their ribeye steak with mushroom sauce and baked potato<br/>But this time we took their special on menu steak with lobster n egg sauce. I still prefer the mushroom sauce though.<br/>Seafood salad is yummy and so their lobster bisque <br/>Finished off with delicious lychee puding and cup of coffee makes our gathering memorable<br/>Great place to hang out with friends and family, you may want to make a reservation in weekend if u intend for celebration with a larger group of ppl as it tends to be more crowd in weekend.. will definitely come back again
