Went for dim sum breakfast... Sunday by 10 am crowd will be coming in. Suggestion to go early. Love the porridge. The carrot cake is a little too sweet to my taste.
This is a bit of a walk further down from Chomp Chomp in Serangoon Gardens, located in Serangoon Gardens Country Club. Heard that Toa Payoh is the main outlet.
Take note that they don't serve dim sum for dinner. There's a timeboard for that (see picture).
Made a reservation before coming down. Wanted to order the Peking Duck, which the waitress convinced us quite a bit to order it, only to then find out that it was out of stock. Ordered braised duck instead, which wasn't that bad either.
Most of the dishes were quite homely. Nothing too special but just simple dishes.
The oyster omelette was a bit more fried but was still well complemented by the sauce. Not too bad.
Had mango sago as dessert and it was quite thick.
Also take note that for newlyweds to-be, they have a 2nd floor as ballroom. You might want to enquire at the restaurant or via online for further details.
Missed the dim sum during this trip, but might come here again to try it.
Really nice place for a Sunday lunch with your family! Food is good too! The service was fast and great! Servers were attentive. Price is quite reasonable. There's also free road side parking on Sunday.
