Where do I start. I arrived in need of a tasty beer after a long day. The waitress proceeds to try to sell me several drinking plans worth $100+. Pushed for me to purchase free flow beer, if "I can drink fast." I firmly told her I just want a beer, and was given a really overpriced mediocre beer. Waitress proceeds to pace right beside my table when there's plenty of space. Kicks my chair and doesn't apologize. What the heck is going? So puzzled. And won't be coming back. I came for a chill beer, not to be sold multiple beer plans. Not coming back.

Lovely Brazilian manager is super friendly and gave us a complimentary tapas when our food took some time to arrive. The wine tasting card lets you experience many different wines at one sitting as well! Would definitely recommend for wine lovers

Good experience here. Staff are knowledgeable, after this visit I knew a lot more about wines and beer. Good burger and the pasta was phenomenal. Made by hand no less. Will come back again.

Great place with great craft beers with a unique concept. You pour your own beers from the many drafts. I felt like it's my own bar where I can pour What ever beers I want. Friendly staff. No gst and no service charge.

The scotch ale we ordered wasn’t cold enough. It came with the barrel. Taste is great. Food is tasty but portion is way skimpy nan! The worst part is we wanted pay with GrabPay and they have the sign posted on the counter for GrabPay but the guy at the counter didn’t allow us to pay with it and said it’s not available. What a joke!

I got to try TheNook because it is the partner restaurant of Big Hotel in Middle Road. Because of this, my stay in the hotel has definitely been happier. The actual dining place looks hip. Its ceiling is high enough to create an illusion of wider space. It aldo houses a mix of high and low tables with an industrial design. There is a long table for people who are dining solo. TheNook has a good selection of food for the breakfast buffet. The menu stretches from Asian to Mediterranean cuisine. I especially love their prawn roll and croissant. These food items are regular in the breakfast menu. The prawn roll is packed with real prawn meat and flavor compared to the prawn rolls available in other restaurants. The croissant has that balance of buttery flavor and flaky/soft that you would oh-so-like. They also serve curry, porridge, cold Plus points also for wonderful service by the food crew. The crowd for breakfast is mostly hotel guests so you'll expect the place to be packed during this time. This might not be a problem if you don't mind sharing a table with other hotel guests. All in all, I would definitely recommend TheNook even for non-BigHotel guests for an ultimate breakfast experience. :)

Thoroughly enjoyed my time coming here. Quiet place to enjoy a private conversation or two and extremely friendly people there. From the chef, Gui, to the manager, Prince, they made me feel like a regular there, even though it was my first time. Food is bloody excellent too. Will definitely be back.
