Excellent šŸ‘, highly recommended, not to be missed when in Chinatown. Almond tofu (å—åŒ—ęļ¼‰ęä»č±†č… is incredibly soft and silky. All the heat I encountered when in Thai was gone after eating mung bean soup & tofu curd.

soya beancurd lover must eat this. for me the original one is the best beancurd ive ever tasted. sweetness, milky aroma, also soya bean aroma combined perfectly. last time i tried to bring this back to my country, which means it must stay outside the fridge around more than 24 hrs, and it still tasted good. but if you want to keep outside the fridge for long time, better ask the aunty/uncle how long it can be stored outside fridge.

One of the best soya puddings Iā€™ve ever had. Silky smooth and not too sweet. I have have a bunch of these and not feel too guilty. They have a bunch of locations but I visited the one in the Maxwell food center near Chinatown. The soy milk is also delicious and refreshing but the pudding is where itā€™s at. I still dream of having this today. I wish they expend abroad so I can have it without flying to Singapore!

UNREALISTICALLY SMOOTH!!! this shop selling just a few things in their fridge, Soya bean curd and herb jelly in a clear plastic container with these adorable elder couple on it. As mentioned, I didnā€™t hesitate to just give it a go as the it seemed like theyā€™re specialised in this exact thing. I order the original Lao Ban Soya Beancurd (S$1.5). Opened it slowly and scooped the first one into my mouth and oh my! You have no idea how soft and smooth the soya bean could be. Itā€™s unrealistically smooth, like, literally. Love how mild the taste is as well. Not too sweet but also not bland. Itā€™s so delicious and good.. and you, itā€™s healthy! Then, we wanted to try the almond Lao Ban Soya Beancurd (S$2). To be honest, itā€™s disappointing a bit on this one. The smellā€™s too strong. Almost felt like itā€™s fake but I just couldnā€™t really tell. Anyways, stick with the original one! Check out our Singapore food journey on Way Beyond Padthai TY ! :)

I donā€™t usually give 5 star review. But this is mind blowing. The texture is so tender and it melts immediately in your mouth.
