Came for lunch Big and spacious table The price is reasonable but don't expect quality. Our order always missed out certain item eg: prawns. What I don't like is the ventilation. Also wonder how often they clean the table and chairs?

First the place, located on the 3rd story of a shophouse, not too smoky but ventilation is not that great either. Table and seat arrangement is ok. There's pillow cushions on the seats but please don't go hugging them. Buffet price is 29.9++ for Dinner. But the buffet does not include drinks and if choosing two soup base there's additional charge. So the costs add up to more then advertised. Food quality wise, it's normal. quality of meat and seafood is ok. Don't like it when they serve seafood that is still frozen, especially scallop and mussels. the variety of sauces is also lacking. Service is good, staffs are attentive and will change the BBQ paper or top up soup periodically. Overall not really worth the price. Can go elsewhere that have everything free flow for that price.

The DingGarden Buffet was a nice place . When we come out from lift , the staff was so friendly. The table's was big to put all the food. You can have the bbq also a steamboat together and the sauce got a lot too. I ordering the food after finish everything on table. More important was if you wasted the food sure will kena paid fine. I like the place and I like the staff all over there. Thanks for your restaurant.

It is a great place to have friends who love steamboats and grill together for gathering. The service was good.. just have a bit of pity for the service staff, seeing her running up and down for so many tables. Overall good job to her.

Decided to Went there on a Tuesday evening with friends as we saw there are many good reviews, so dining time limit was 2 hours, they are understaffed so when we ask for our food, the lady shouted at us and said they are understaffed, we were worried cause we waited very long for the food and the time keeps counting. Food was not bad. Place was poorly ventilated, the place is unhygienic as we saw insects crawling on the window, wall and on our table. We paid $300+ but get poor service from them, hope they can improve

I wouldn't say this is a bad place... But the service is just way too too too slow. They are very short on staff with only about 5 ground staff attending to the max capacity of prolly 50 or more tables. This place is unique in a sense that they have 3in1 buffet - BBQ, Hotpot and chongqing fish (but this fish is deep fried) for about around $35/pax. There is also a section where you can get the sauce you want, for bbq or hotpot but since its covid time, you will have to approach the staff for the dipping sauce and variety is pretty huge; almost the selectiom you can find in HDL. I personally like their BBQ which are all well marinated and taste very good. Thr options for BBQ is very decent ranging from pork to shrooms and etc The hotpot soup, i had the herbal 1 and is not too salty and the flavour grows as you cook and taste is good too. The options for hotpot is also very decent with thin slices of beef to vege and shrooms. Finally, the ala carte buffet chongqing style fish which is usually a grilled fish (but in this place, fish is deep fried) on a flame heated tray with gravy - mala, picked veg, tomato and fermented bean flavours. I had 2 whole fish for myself and the mala and picked are both good. The first fish is fried till super crisy i even ate the tail, but the 2nd was not as crispy but it's still good. Also, they have little cup ice cream and yes also free flow if you still have room for dessert. It says approach staff, but i see many people just help themselves to it especially childrens. Hmmmm.... Overall, i pretty much like the place for its food and almost everything on the menu is great. I will definitely be back but not on peak lunch/dinner timing due to the slow service. Had the 3 in 1 buffet which consists of Steamboat, BBQ and Grilled fish. The steamboat and bbq were the typical ala carte free flow. Abit disappointing they did not have a lean option, most of the meats were pork bellies and fatty cuts. The 麻辣 soup was pretty decent. The steamboat selection was quite large. But the show stopper was the grilled fish, they had it in several flavours but the 香辣 was the best. Enjoyed the grilled fish the most.
