Discovered this newer restaurant opened in Vivo 3rd Storey serving Chinese Cuisine. Food Portions were great and fresh too! A little disappointing having to wait a little too long for the salted egg prawn balls to be served. The noodles were springy and had just the right bite to it. Lamb Skewers tasted like a enhanced version of the Satay; difference would be Mahua’s one is more meaty and grilled less of the char flavor. Overall worth a visit to try for the skewers and noodle dishes.

Food is great, portion vs price is really bad. Mainly frequented by Chinese Nationals living or visiting Singapore. 90% of patrons in the place at anytime. Taste of food is close to the ones I tasted in China bit really the price is ridiculous.

I’m not sure why this place only got 4.3 stars. It’s seriously incredible, right down to the insane camels that grace its front entrance. This restaurant is attached to Alijiang Restaurant, which is right next door, and you can order food from both places to either one. Please refer to my review on Alijiang for the full rundown, but if you're too lazy... here we go: We ordered way more than the pictures I took showed, and we enjoyed every single bite of food we had. The chicken skewers were cooked to perfection and weren’t dry at all, with a little smokiness to them. The lamb skewers weren’t gamey and were deliciously seasoned, but I do wish they were a little more tender. The beef lamian was lovely and the soup was very clean. We definitely cleared out all the soup among the four of us. The liangpi noodles (pictured) were also very good; chewy and spicy without being too heavy. Even their stir fried cabbage dish (there were bits of fried bread in it too) had plenty of wokhey and was incredibly good. We also ordered fish (pictured), which had an interesting texture and kick to it without being too spicy. To end, we had some bread, or “pancake” (pictured) to supplement the xinjiang spicy pocket bun, which was a delightful sweet/ spice that rounded out our meal nicely. If we had more stomach space or weren’t restricted to 5px a group, I would have ordered far more things. With such an extensive menu featuring a dizzying array of dishes to choose from, it was hard to make a decision. I’ll definitely be back to sample more things that this place has to offer.
