I don't actually eat at Aspirasi, but the stall around here. I arrived at Seah Im Food Hawker around 9 PM, heading to USS and Aspirasi stall hasn't open. Here is the picture of the stall where i bought my food, i took it from google bcs i'm forget to take one. So i ordered nasi lemak for 3 SGD, it was ok compare to the price. But the chicken is like very crispy chicken that already turn cold so its hard to chew :( still finished it anyway. The stall have Halal mark.
And i tried this indian snack, pastry with mutton filling. I bought it from indian food stall, the seller was a madam wearin hijab so i guest this is halal?😁 the taste was so indian, rich in taste and scent. I couldn't finished it by the way but its not too bad to try.
**Give it 4 so i'm not ruin this food stall reputation.
A recently added institution to my list of must-try’s is Aspirasi Ayam Penyet. Located at the Seah Im Food Centre in Harbourfront, the nondescript hawker centre attracts queues of hungry eaters during lunchtime.
My favourite is their signature fried chicken thigh, served with a generous serving of frites shreds (You can add more from the blue bucket yourself). The Sambal chilli, freshly prepared by the makciks every afternoon, gives the dish a whole new twist and probably invites you for more.
The crispy fried chicken, marinated for long in soy and other spices, is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The distinct and separate shreds of chicken meat locks in every ounce of marinate and is a pure delight by itself. You must be prepared to wait for 10-15 minutes because every chicken thing and wings are fried on-the-spot and not some microwaved chickens prepared hours ago. 🤤🤤
