I ordered Mala which is pretty good and at a good price. You basically pick whatever you wanted from the bowl. Beef tripe, cheese tofu and oyster mushroom are totally a gem! I should’ve ordered rice and more sauce. The staff is nice.

We tried the Mala ($13.90 for 2 people’s portion) and Rich braised beef flank noodles ($6) (all the noodles have a $0.50 price increment) and both were good! Went around 9pm and the Mala, Noodles & Drinks stall was still open. It’s a small corner shop but seating areas inside and outside are sufficient. It’s located right opposite bugis junction (the entrance where josh’s grill / tip top are at).

Had the mapotofu rice from the mala stall and it surprised me alot. We were hungry so we just picked the only place without a queue on a Friday night but despite so the food was really good. Mapotofu was cooked well and seasoned nicely, goes really well with the rice. Served fast as well. Will be back again for sure to try the mala xiangguo.
