The food quality and portion is excellent. The stingray is well cook and the serving size is definately much larger than many similar stalls elsewhere. The sorong is so soft that it could melt in your mouth. The kangkong is perfect. Overall, a very satisfying meal.

When asked, where's the best BBQ stingray in the west. I'm sure B.B.Q Seafood will be one of the recommended. And personally if you ask me, what makes a store different from the rest? It's definitely the sambal they used. Thumb up for their sambal. Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to try their sambal sotong. Went there at around 6pm and their sotong has sold out.

The sambal sotong is very good, kangkong also well fried. Stingray still good. HOWEVER somehow the oil chill splattered and kena at least 10 spots of oil splatter. Do not wear white. Pls come 15 mins before closing time. 745pm stall close! Went again on a weekday. Less staff but food is still served fast. Ordered a large stingray at $14 to share dishes with friend. Food is served fast. The eatery has 4 servers, one cashier and one chef. Price is labelled and showed in my pic. The sambal for the stingray is sufficiently spicy but not too hot. The chinchalok was sweet and not over powering. The stingray was well cooked. White and fresh stingray meat. Bones can also be chewed upon and eaten. Went at 430pm, less crowd. Pple start coming in ard 515pm. Saw some eating the sambal sotong. Looks very delicious and quite affordable at $13. Will come back and try. From what was serving out, it seems that the sambal stingray is a fav, Tog with sambal sotong and sambal kang kong. Portion seems very generous too. And like one of the reviews here. Aft one of my fav Bukit Timah woodlands stingray branch closed, I was just eating stingray at Newton till no more pong tau auntie. Pasir Panjang was also another fav. Eminent at lavender also closed when place was demolished. This is going to be a new fav.

After scouring almost the entire Singapore for a good hotplate BBQ (Chomp Chomp, Newton, etc.. you name it) after my favorite one at Bukit Timah Market closed 10+ years ago (2010s) due to retirement, I finally found my favorite one! So many Stingray stalls in Singapore don't cook them on the hotplate so trying to find one that does is already a challenge. I always get the large fish for myself. The sambal on the fish is great. Cincalok could use some work and flavors but edible.

One of the best (if not the best) sambal stingray in Singapore. Meat is tender and cooked to perfection. Sambal paste is not spicy nor too salty. It it just nice. Prawns are normal. Should try the crayfish next time. Location is not easy to get to if you dont have a car. The stall is located at level 3 and they close around 7pm (earlier if they sold out).

Many place sells bbq seafood but few place does it so well like this place in Taman Jurong Food Center. Sotong ised is thick and fat, cooked perfectly tender and juicy. The red snapper we ordered was also cooked perfectly like Zai Shun from Jurong east. Moist, just cooked not a minute more. Sambal taste fantastic, very dangerous place for dinner, tends to eat more rice then usual…

A great place to go for a sambal stingray and kangkong fix! There's always a queue especially during dinner time, but food is prepared rather quickly.
