This is my first time eating from this stall and my immediate reaction after sinking in for the first bite is: wow! Why didn’t I have this earlier. I like Wanton noodle (and I am sure many do). Though I will venture to try new ones, but I always play conservative and stick to the tried and tested ones. But really glad I did for this one and it will be my go-to stall henceforth. The wanton, whether boiled or fried are really good. I like the springy noodle that reminds me of ramen noodle cooked perfectly. The chicken feet is flavourful and soft with lots of collagen. Most importantly, the food here is not that salty and has all the flavour. There is an old article pasted on the stall that the stall owner had been doing this for years and they are seeing more and more repeat customers. After all, they have been doing this and perfecting the trade since 1970 (just a year younger than me 🤣)
Tried their wanton soup. For a $3 portion, they prepared loads of wanton that is filled with well marinated meat and a tinge of salted fish if not mistaken. Lady manning the stall was friendly too.
Loved the home made fried ngoh hiang. Must try.
