2 plain prata selling at 2.20. Probably the cheapest I can find so far. It's fresh as in soft texture. Curry was rather quite salty. Great to go with teh halia.
Next to main road, spacious, and the Teh Halia is good. Feeling of Little India just outside of the really busy Little India. Service is good.
Added Lambing soup as recommended by another reviewer- to fight off cold. And it tastes great!!!
A good place to get Indian food at a reasonable price. The plain prata was well-cooked with the right amount of crispness. The egg prata was even better, The egg in the prata was spread evenly allowing one to taste their egg in almost every bite. The teh halia was one of the best i have ever tried. The ginger taste and the tea were equally strong, making every sip fulfilling and enjoyable. The curry was a bit salty though.
Service was also good with the staff being polite. They also serve the curry without placing the curry plate on the prata, which is something I appreciate.
If it’s value for money, get and go food place you’re looking for, this must be the perfect prata shop for you. No frills, service is not great , but price wise definitely calls for more stars. Sometimes you even need to wait to pay, that sucks, but now they even provide free wifi! Don’t think of bringing your laptop here to do work or anything just yet, the restaurant is by the road and it gets quite noisy during peak hours with all the cars passing by. Well if it is cheap teh tarik, and roti prata, this is the place for you!
The nasi goreng with ikan bills, mee goreng, prata are the magnet. Nice and fragrant. Teh halia comparable to Little India in terms of spiciness. Value for money . Should try if in the vicinity.
Good food. Cheap. Briyanis very worth.
