Had the set lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the chicken nanban. The value in the meal was definitely from the drink, which by itself would cost around $8. I had myself their popular iced matcha drink which was tasted authentic and refreshing.
Seats were aplenty during lunchtime and comfortable. There’s also an outside area if you fancy some fresh air and views of duo.
Order their Lunch Menu -1 main course and 1 drink for $17.00++
tip: the lunch menu is cheaper on weekday at $16.00++ (every dollar counts) so if you want cheaper, come on weekday!
I have ordered the Sukiyaki Beef Udon and Chicken Saboro Don. Personally, i like the Beef udon than Saboro Don as i am a light eater. My hubby enjoyed the don as it is more savoury compares to my beef udon. Overall, thumb up for both!
As for the drinks! I always love Nana's Latte!! No matter is which, the drinks are always good and rich in flavour!
The ambience is great. Feels light and bright with the floor to ceiling windows and nice greenery view. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Slight difference in menu items compared to the Plaza Singapura branch, for example the Duo branch does not have the creamy Salmon udon.
The seating capacity is also slightly less than the plaza singapura branch. We went there on a weekend and it was not too crowded, but I imagine it would be packed on a weekday.
Quality and standard of the food is consistent with the plaza singapura branch.
Restroom is located outside of the restaurant, which was around the corner near the carpark lift, Nice and clean.
