The food are great no doubt! The salmon sashimi slices is so thick and satisfying. The mango tempura maki was my favorite too. Others was alright-. 5 stars for food.
2 stars for service, maybe their business is so good they tend to not care about service quality, at one point i dont feel welcomed.
And when the guy serves my salmon to the wrong table he picked it up and leave it on my table without saying aword to the both tables. Especially now is covid period, passing my food to other table isnt exactly pleasant. Will definately take away if i crave for their food.

Understood their business are really good and always fully booked. They only gave 45 minutes from order to servings. It's really stressful to me as it was my 1st visit and I don't know what to order but they came over to recommend their signature dishes and quite pushy. Their food are really big portion and their salmons are fresh & sweet. There's one problem I really don't like when all the food are served then they came to collect payment. Why can't they collect the money BEFORE serving the food?!? 🤔🤔🤔

Small and cozy place.. Food taste is great..
price wise is affordable..
Server tend to move fast and speak fast.... I guess it’s due to their short opening hours and the crowd..

Before dining, the staff will inform you that you need to wait about 20 minutes for the food to be served. So, expect a little wait, not recommended if you are in a rush. Luckily, we only had to wait about 10 minutes for the food to arrive
Salmon Don - good amount of raw salmon and rice seasoning - simply delicious.
Salmon Mentai Maki - delicious and nicely done.
Chicken Katsu Don - average, not as tasty as the above 2 dishes
Cream Couquette - good appetiser, went well with the sauce provided.
The dining area was very plain and not much customer service, the food quality was good besides the price being slightly higher.
Total spent for 2 people : $37.00
Mode of payment cash only.
There is limited seating; luckily, we were there at 11.30am as it became packed during lunchtime

A hidden gem with affordable Japanese food. Tastes great and value-for-money. I would recommend their salmon mentai don as it is their signature item here.

I think my expectation was too high to try it out.. potion is surprisingly small and the food is different from what they present on menu. Specialty, I thought there supposed to be cold sushi rice for the sushi roll but turn out its warm and sticky..... not gonna visit again

This place has the best ebi mango maki. Sweet and soft on the outside, crispy and savoury on the inside. Portion is big and its $13. Was there alone so only ordered 1 thing. Staff attitude was OK. Last order at 8pm sharp.

Because i am a huge fan of Japanese food, i tried this salmon belly sashimi and ebi mango maki and they did not disappoint. I was very satisfied and happy. The salmon belly sashimi's serving was huge for 1 person. The ebi mango maki was also great, crunchy on the inside and so delicious. These are a musy try dishes.

My gf brought me to this place n I love it. It's an unassuming, humble hole-in-the-wall located on level 3 of Fortune Center.
One thing that struck me was the price of the food - 13 bucks for a ten-piece Salmon Mentaiyaki Don (aka Mentai Don L) filled with tasty garnishes and sweet Japanese rice, and 10 bucks for a six-piece Maki (albeit a bit smaller compared to others out there...).
The owner was especially friendly and tried to break the ice with new faces. When I was chowing down the Don, he told me to eat the Maki first because it turns cold quickly and the taste would have degraded after fifteen minutes. Another thing I liked was the casual ambience there, where the owner spoke and greeted the customers upon their arrival - he knew them. From what I noticed when I was there, many of their customers were repeat customers.
We spent 34.50 together, about 17 each and I was full already. This was definitely not the usual case! If you're looking for cheap and filling Japanese food, this is the place.

5 star food and service, i love the food in here and the owner is very friendly and nice too! I really love the mentai don and ebi fry maki, best food ever but their other options also all taste as good! Food is consistent and i always leave the shop happy :)

Very affordable yet delicious Japanese food.
Hits the spot & satisfies your craving without leaving a hole in your wallet. Serving was alright and just enough to fill an empty stomach. Would come back again! Friendly cashier & service. bone apple teeth!

Regular patron of this place.
Excellent service and food at an affordable price!
The owner is a kind guy who tries to interact with his customers on a personal basis. When there isn't a crowd, he would ask customers about the quality of the food and made us feel welcome/homely.
Would definitely recommend the sashimi slices: Thick, sweet and flavourful. Owner said the salmon is fresh and they carefully hand-picked the fishes. It's only less than $10 for 5 thick slices of sashimi!
They have an array of choices for the maki's. My personal favourite would be the Mentai Maki. Value for money and packs a lot of flavours.
However as the place is slightly small, it's inevitable that we might have to wait slightly longer during rush hours. I mean come on, you're paying much lower prices here as compared to other restaurants. Quality is definitely no less than the sushi restaurants out there.
Then again, it's quite a weird thing that their signboard is "Japanese Curry Express". I mean... Did you hear me mention anything about Japanese curry rice?

5 star food, 5 star service but rating it 4 stars because the Uncle at the shop said 5 stars is too unrealistic. And because they don't care what the internet says about them, they only care what their customers feel when they eat. The food is cooked with passion and definitely not slipshod or half hearted as you will be able to tell by the effort they put in to make it. It's true they might take quite abit of time to serve the food after ordering, but trust me if you are not rushing and have time to spare, just patiently wait a little longer. Good things come to those who wait, your patience will be rewarded.

Ultra friendly staff. Very sweet and attentive of them to notice that there is toddler with us hence suggested to us not to have chili oil added in the chawamushi. Knewing that some of us have not arrive, they served us the chawamushi later so that we can have it warm! Definitely will come again as it gives us a homely warmth feel!

Be prepared to get yelled at by grouchy aunty. Extremely poor attitude.
Aunty: 到齐了没有
Me: 快到了
Before I even sat down and made my order. There wasn’t a queue behind me either
Aunty: 不要跟我说快到了,十分钟没到就给我让位
