Toothsome & winsome fish cake, braised duck, steamed pork with salted fish and Ngo Hiang. The porridge cooked perfectly and just the thing for this wet and cold day. Coming back tomorrow to check out the steamed fish tail.

The food are generally nice and the private carpark makes it convenient. But the service needs improvement. The boss don’t smile and gave a sulking face. The lady who serves us has no patient and her tone of talking will piss you off though she “tried” to serve well.

In terms of chaochow 潮汕菜 this is the best in my 40 years of searching for this regional food. Simply stunningly good, just forget about the ambience. Ambience is not edible. When you try the food, you go to paradise. P.s.Ample of parking at the back. Book it first!!

Amazing recommendation by a friend who lives in the area. Braised duck is soft and tender and the braised soy sauce is yummy! Fried oyster eggs is great too. Best part is the easy parking and fair price which I don’t imagine can be found in the middle of River Valley.

So goooddd. Best Teochew foods. The place have private car park so it’s super convenient. The place is air conditioned and the service is great. The food….. wow i think it’s the best Teochew food in the island. The highlights is the cold crab, the kwaychap, the steamed fish, 👍👍👍👍👍 really should try! Highly recommended!

Our family have enjoyed the teochew cuisine there. I am surprised that they served teochew porridge as well. Will be back more ofter.

Enjoyed the braised platter (medium $25), oyster omelette (original small $16), bittergourd fried with salted egg (medium $12), and yam paste with gingko nuts ($7). The sauce for the braised platter was excellent. There was duck meat, bean curd, pig ears, pig skin, pork belly and intestines, though a bit too much pig skin and too many boney parts for the duck meat. The oyster omelette was not bad. The bittergourd was great with the salted egg sauce. The yam paste was outstanding - cooked fresh to order, thick but not oily with some gingko nuts and pumpkin and the fried shallots went well with it.
