Ordered the braised intestines, sotong, fishcake and a fish with salted vegetables for 2. It was $23 (late Jun 2022). The intestines were properly cleaned and there was no odour. The sotong was also cooked perfectly. The seats surrounding the stall are all occupied by its customers so you can see the popularity of it. However, this also made the payment process confusing as I had to chase one of the staff 3 times to collect payment, which was only done at the end of the meal for me. Though I'm someone who likes stronger flavours, this relatively lighter teochew porridge still appealed to me.

Freshly poached pomfret upon order - the 1st I’ve seen this done in Singapore hawker stall. The cabbage & fish cake tasted nice and clean too. A must-go if you are a morning teochew porridge eater.

Our fav Teochew Porridge spot in SG. Everything is top notch quality and cooked to perfection. Fish fresh, veggies crunchy, sauces 👌🏼. Auntie and Uncle that run the store are super lovely too.

Have a been a great fan of Teo Heng @ Amoy for ages, so curious to know what's the quality of the sibling food is like. Not disappointed at all in the end. Same good old tradition never dies. The food quality at Teo Heng Hong Lim is equally good. Freshness of the steamed (more like boiled actually) fish is superb! Totally committed to the particular culinery tradition of Teo Heng. Its all about trust n honesty to deliver good value and yummiest Teochew porridge in SG! Now that my curiosity has been satisfied, I'll stick to the Amoy sibling.. Simply because they know me and will deliver exactly what I like w/o me actually giving my specific order.

I use to always eat the brother stall at Amoy and only recently tried this place I would say this is better as the amoy one is really salty recently. Also they still selling at 1pm while amoy stall sometimes close at 12.30 already. It’s very comforting n delicious food. Tip not to seat near the stall as it smell of toilet. Also unit number is 1-57

Everytime when I'm in this hawker, I see people queuing for food everywhere. This teochew porridge or mix vegetable rice stall you name it is always super long queue. I queue this round, really awesome dishes and feel like eating home cooked food. Prices are reasonable. Taste is 👍.

Teo Heng Hong Lim has been my favourite Teochew porridge stall for over 30 years. The food selection is so plentiful and always fresh. The portions are generous and when you order fish, it is taken out of an ice box and cooked slowly and properly in a boiling pot of vegetables which is really so special. The owner is always with a friendly smile and witty charm. I feel that it is value for money and more importantly, quality and quantity is unmatched. Enjoy....
