Highly recommend for all duck lovers, as soup can be too game-y for some so exercise your own discretion. Soup is extremely flavourful and rich, making it perfect for second portions of noodles should one still feel hungry. Free flow of hard boiled eggs are available as per all Keisuke outlets, delicious when eaten as a starter with lots of mayonnaise and bean sprouts.

The entrance to this restaurant is between Isshin Machi & Sanook Kitchen along Lor Mambong (Holland Village). I like the "Tori Gate" theme staircase leading up to the restaurant on the 2nd floor. We ordered the Spicy Red Tonkotsu Ramen, Yuzu Shio Ramen & the original Tonkotsu Ramen. Personally, I prefer the rich and flavourful tonkotsu broth over the shio one. We had wanted to try their duck ramen, but, unfortunately, this branch no longer has the duck specialty menu. Overall, we liked the ramen, and also the Nanban Chicken. The Nanban sauce goes very well with the fried chicken. Highly recommended 👍🏼

Hidden gem in Holland Village which locates at 2nd floor and has an unique hallway with Tori leading towards upstairs. They have a simple menu for you to start with, the lowest price at 9.90 and you can add options from the order form. The broth is rich, fatty and salty while the meat is quite thick too. Recommend to order ramen with the onsen egg. The environment is cozy and chill compared to the hot weather outside. There’s bar seats available too other than big tables.

Taste: I ordered the duck ramen rich soup special, with came with the ramen noodles, two duck slices, two duck meatballs, a hanjuku egg bamboo shoots, spinach, a large piece of seaweed, and some fish cakes and black fungus. Like most Keisuke ramen outlets, the ramen broth at this outlet is of the thick kind as well. I personally found that the broth wasn't as good as the other outlets though, mainly due to the bamboo shoots and spinach overpowering the tonkotsu and duck oil flavours. (I went for the normal option for the soup taste and duck oil). The noodles were okay, and I expected the duck slices to be more tender - it kind of reminded me of smoked duck. The duck meatballs though, those were really good and tasted unique. I would personally recommend ordering something with the meatballs in it! As with most Keisuke outlets, there are free hard boiled eggs provided as well! Service: We were promptly attended to by the staff, although we did have to wait in the queue for quite a while due to the small size of the restaurant combined with the safe distancing measures at that time. We were given the option to choose what noodles we wanted in the queue though, and the food came relatively fast. The seating was a little uncomfortable but overall, it was fine. Price: This place charges both GST and service charge, which amounts to about $23.50 for the duck ramen rich soup special. I would say that this place provides decent value for money, considering the amount of ingredients given in the bowl, as well as the free flow hard boiled eggs at the side. The bill was paid via contactless payment. Ease of eating with utensils: The ramen was perfectly fine to eat with chopsticks, as long as your chopstick skills are up to standard. The spoons provided also had a depth that was sufficient to scoop up good amounts of soup. You do have to use your hands to peel the hard boiled eggs though - I really should start learning how to peel eggs with utensils. (Visited on Mar 2022)

I only do ramen reviews. I had an early dinner at Ginza Kamo Soba Kyudaime Keisuke in Holland village in Singapore. They specialise in a duck broth ramen. I chose their chilli miso ramen seen here. It was pretty good, I had the opportunity to have a spoon of my daughter’s chintan bowl as well and duck definitely does better with stronger flavours. If you are planning to visit you should pick something that can overshadow the rougher, gamier flavours of the duck. The egg was great, toppings were nice, and the chilli and miso worked well together. 🍜🍜🍜🍜/5. IG: 80ishplusramen

This little gem is hidden in the second floor just above Basil Thai restaurant. There’s plenty of space once you’ve made your way to the restaurant. Menu is simple and starts at $9.90 and you can add on options when you complete the order form. I tried the chasi ramen which was value for money at $10.90 and came with a large slice of pork. The broth was thick and fragrant and thankfully not so salty. Serving was also very generous and came with a hard boiled egg and large serving of bean sprouts. I high recommend this hidden gem which probably the best ramen in Holland Village!

Super authentic tsukemen, definitely tasted like something you’d be able to find in Tokyo! The broth is very rich, thick, tasty and unique since the base is duck. You will have a form to fill to customize your order like most typical ramen/tsukemen places in japan. I’m very impressed and I’d come back again!!
