On a Saturday afternoon, I waited in line for about 40 minutes to get a seat in the air-conditioned space. The outdoor seating area seems to have a higher turnover rate so getting a seat there is easier. This cafe also has no time limit on how long you can have the table. Ordering can be done via a QR code, or at the counter. I would recommend going to the counter since you can see the available bakes. I enjoyed the Chocolate Muffin ($5.50) which was very chocolatey and had melted chocolate on top of a moist chocolate muffin. However, over time, the chocolate taste may be a bit much, and I would suggest pairing it with another bake like the Almond Croissant ($5.50). This was hot when it was served. However, the texture of this croissant is more of a biscuit, rather than the flakey French pastry one might expect. It was a little bland and I could not detect any buttery fragrance. I also had a pot of Blue Early Grey Tea ($7) which was pretty good, and the refills are free.
Very nice café with nice coffee and food! Nice cozy vibes too.
The staff were friendly and explained the pour over coffee to us and how we can drink it for maximum flavour.
We went on a Saturday afternoon, quite crowded. Ordered two main dishes, the huat burger and the presto dish. Very delicious!!
They also have a shop behind it that sells coffee beans and hardware.
1st visit here tdy, and very aptly on Father's day, had to order papa's breakfast. And a croissant and daily brew to go along. papa's breakfast is very wholesome, toast was soft and scrambled eggs done just right. The cherry tomatoes were very sweet! Mushrooms were were grilled. Only slightly disappointed the sausage may be too dry for me. Croissant was quite average and the coffee was aromatic yet not too bitter.
