锅贴 is a must, decent flavour and your can feel the effort of the chef. Noodles is just nice and the soup is so delicious until I finished the every last dip.
Came here wanting to try the salted egg pork rib a few stalls down but it was full house. So decided to give this a try instead. Ordered the you mian and fried dumpling (6 pieces), each priced at $4. Price is quite reasonable and I enjoyed the you mian (noodles were well cooked). The fried dumplings didn't taste so good, so maybe should have chosen to order the pan-fried instead as it seems to be the recommended dish here. Do note it's a one-man show here, with the boss doing the ordering, cooking, cashier, and clearing of plates. Would be good to help bring your bowls and plates to the clearing area in the back so it's easier for the uncle. Will be a good place to try out if you are in the area.
This one-man show is unassuming but delivers big time on taste. It has become a weekly stop for me. The ban mian is very solid. With that said, I think the secret star is the pan-fried dumpling.
